I still think they’re really good friends. They’ve said they watched crappy movies together, hung out at Ian’s place playing the game Ian liked, and Ian said they can talk about everything now. Anthony’s mentioned more than once that their adult friendship is awesome, so I don’t think his comeback was just about them being 17 again.
Honestly, if they weren’t that close, Anthony wouldn’t have offered to pick Ian up six times when his car broke down, wouldn’t still be checking Ian’s IG stories and retweeting them, and all that.
He clearly cares about Smosh, supports the cast during their live shows, helped out with the LA wildfires, and even went with the crew to that pirate show in February. He’s still involved, just not into being on camera anymore.
Him offering to help 6 times was a year ago 😭 and Ian openly said to him that him unfollowing Ian shows his lack of interest *in him* directly and Anthony is still not following him. That was also a year ago too.
He didn't help with the LA wildfire thing the crew was doing everything he highly likely only came to donate, was not in the live charity stream, actually he was not in any of the charity streams.
BUT YEA he was in the bonding show with them! That's correct. Except they were standing like 6 feet away with Ian LMAO
