Bleach - Thousand Year Blood War Arc Chapter 515/Episode 8 Review
So I've reached watching the Thousand Year Blood Quincy War and unfortunately made it up to Chaper 515, rest in peace Head Captain Yamamoto. "You will be missed, Old Man Yama." T-T
And after that gruesome invasion by the Sternrittets attacking the Seireitei, I know everybody was grieving, but Soifon, what she said to Kensei, using his, on behalf of the Visoreds, past grievances with the Gotei 13 to accuse him of apathy if not relief in the loss, was not just probably one of the most vile accusations heard, but another testament to ongoing and unchallenged corruption of the Central 46.
From what I seem to recall, nobody had suffered more from the schemes more than the Vizored, and ignoring that they all had the same cause of their misery; Sosuke Aizen. Let's see what she still had, despite being affected, that they had stripped away.
Forced to endure those hollowfication experiments. Going mad with rage during those experiments, accidentally hurt her friends like, Hiyori had done.
Deemed a criminal even though victim of an experimentation that is nonetheless confirmed by the Central 46 yet still slated for execution. Make that make sense, a non-consenting participant a complicit with a main perpetrator.
And somehow all of that is outweighed because of feelings of abandonment, familial disgrace, unintentional but tragic, by an idolised noble who risking her neck to save a friend, resulting in a broken pedestal? Is that all?!
What's even more alarming is that even after all the facts were in the open that Eisen had played them all, not only with his charisma, strategic awareness, but the unforseen power of his Zanpakto, somehow her resentment towards Kisuke somehow never subverted that to at least come to so form of consensus, that they'll protect Yoruichi. But instead, what did she requested of Hachigen? Riiight, keep him confined for a month.
Even for/if you're a fellow fan of Yoruichi, it's very difficult to like a character that's mirrors your emulation within the franchise.
