slay or be slayed

Sorry I’ve never been in Leuven myself, so I’ve actually no idea haha. Just have always wanted to go myself since I know it’s a popular student city in Belgium. So if anyone here has any Leuven tips, pls do share :D

I don’t think antwerp is worth it compared to other places. It has one nice square and a nice train station but that’s about it lol. Ghent is way nicer.

Some more Amsterdam tips:

- Waterlooplein (a square with thrift market during the day and has loads of thrift stores around it as well (the kilo store is great))

- The Jordaan area is very nice to walk in. Just go into random streets

- From there De Negen Straatjes (the nine streets) are close as well. With great thrift stores and boutiques and right in between al the canals.

- Waterkant is such a fun and nice restaurant (and great for drinks as well). They serve mostly Surinamese food , it’s yum and good price

- NDSM area, they have very great restaurants and The Straat museum. You get there with a free ferry from the central station. Every few weeks they also have the biggest flea market in Europe there in the weekend (The Ijhallen), you should look that up to see when it is

- The International Theater of Amsterdam (aka where i work haha), it’s on Leidse square, great food and drinks and pretty building from in and outside

- Cafe Winkel 43 for the best Apple Pie

- The Botanic Gardens once again haha, great place for a lunch as well

- Kapitein Zeppo’s is such a cute lunch place in a little street with yum food

To do in Leiden:

- Visit the Burcht (a city park with 12th century remains of a castle fort and very nice view of the city and nearby church (Hooglandse kerk))

- Restaurant De Waag (very cool building on the in and outside)

- Walk through Rapenburg street, next to the canal. Is a nice walk with pretty houses

- Go to the Hortus Botanicus

- And the city center is very walkable and not too big so it’s easy to have a pretty walk (that’s why i love this city)

To do in Utrecht:

- Visit the Sint Martin’s Cathedral and the the pretty garden next to it (Pandhof van de Dom, it gives Harry Potter vibes)

- Dom tower

- Winkel van Sinkel Restaurant and Tapas Kelder (is in the same building)

- Miffy Museum lol

- Walk past the canal in the city center (Oudegracht, that’s also where you can shop great)

To do in Breda (i’ve never been there lol):

- Grote Kerk Breda (church)

- Beer Advertisement Museum (never been, looks fun tho)

- Walk through the city park Valkenberg

- Walk through city center , have a nice lunch somewhere

Maastricht (been there once like 5 year ago lol):

- Basilica of Our Lady (again an old church thing lol)

- Bookstore Dominicanen (is a bookstore in an old church, very cool)

- Market Square

To do in Ghent (been here once as well lol):

- Korenmarket

- Saint Michael’s Bridge

- Museum voor Schone Kunsten (art museum)

- Wasbar (a restaurant which is very slay with yummy food for breakfast and lunch)

- City hall Ghent

in NL: Leiden <3 , Utrecht, Haarlem, Delft, Den Haag, Maastricht (then if you are there also go to Valkenburg (in Limburg not the other Valkenburg lol), Groningen, Breda

in Belgium: Ghent, Brussel, Leuven, somewhere near the sea or smth, idk belgium is not really my vibe lol, somewhere in the Ardennes

hey lol, sorry i’m not really on here anymore. but life is going good in one way bc i got in internship that i started it the beginning of september and it’s really nice. i’m also dating someone which is been going great and he is very slay 😁. buttt i got sick last week and it turns out i have mono/pfeiffer. and i’ve literally never felt worse in my life then how i did last week lol. but i’m getting better, just sucks that this will effect me for the next few months. and i will probably have to quit my job at the theater (🥲) bc i just overworked myself and i also need time to rest lol, since the internship is full time (40 hour work week, yes cry with me, but it’s also fun so it’s fine ig)

yeaa i am 😎 and i have actually no idea, i’m going to ireland with my fam and my dad always plans the vacations so i will just see where we end up hahah. i will tell you once we are there.

hii! sorry late response, was at a festival with friends all weekend long, was very slay. so rn i would say life is pretty good, im hopefully close to finding an internship since i have a second interview with a company this friday so pls manifest for me. bc if i finally find an internship i can relax a lot more during this summer since i’ve nice things planned. this weekend i’m going to london with pau <3, then in beginning of july pau, aaf and i are going to greece. then end of july i’m going to ireland with my sister and parents. then beginning of august i have a family reunion with my family from the us and canada somewhere in NL (in the province where my family comes from), and then mid august i’m going to croatia with other friends :D

and obviously i’m still working at the theater restaurant (did i ever even say that on here, idk) and that’s the only constant thing i have going on in my life rn haha
