Paul Mescal has declared his support for the trans community for the first time 🏳️‍⚧️

The 'All of Us Strangers' star issued a public statement ahead of the return of London Trans+ Pride (LT+P) this July. The statement said, “I’m incredibly proud to stand in support of my trans friends and the wider trans community."

“Given the political climate at the moment," he continued, "it feels more and more pressing that we make our voices heard. This is a moment for respect, safety and recognition. Trans rights are human rights.”

"The sex tells the story, so it never felt gratuitous to me. The sex is character development. The sex is what is moving this relationship forward, and watching it change over time."
