Inside the Mansur Gavriel New York Fashion Week presentation, orange trees, poppies and orchids could almost make you forget the weather outside. “These flowers would not survive a second in the snow,” says Brittany Asch (@brrch_floral), who designed the show’s warm-weather arrangements and managed to transport them there safely; “we used cellophane, trucks, the whole nine yards.” Brittany, a freelance florist, also makes weekly arrangements for @mansurgavriel to live in tandem with their designs. If she could be any flower, she’d choose a Himalayan blue poppy. “You’d live mostly untouched on a mountainside with friends.”
