“You should be sleeping.” Tielo’s purring murmur was only mere inches from Airin’s face as his languid form draped over him. Moonlight dappled over his form, casting dramatic shadows around the pair of them as the only source of light aside from the fierce glow of the fox’s eyes, “I realize your view is amazing now, but it can be even better within a dream.”

The kumiho’s warm breath was trailing along his ear now, lips ghosting the line of his jaw as he spoke. The weight of him leaning against his chest no different from a feather blanket. Barely even there. “You have nothing to fear from sleep tonight, love.”

A soft, coaxing kiss, uncharacteristic of him given their usual chaotic nature, was pressed to his lips. Followed by a sweet whisper. “Sleep.”

Another chaste kiss pressed to one of his eyelids, “Come meet me.” This whisper almost seeming to come from within Airin’s own skull as Tielo presses a kiss to his cheek. Then his nose. His chin. His neck – all peppered in feather light kisses.

“Are you serious? Isn’t this the sort of thing humans do in their families? Must we truly humor the custom between us as well?” The kumiho pulls a pout paired with the rolling of his eyes. Of course, kissing a fox and a female one at that was hardly appealing to him even to go along with the ‘joke’ that was their mock familial relationship. Still, he wasn’t hardly one to be outdone by anyone, much less another fox, “But if you insist Mother. I could hardly stand to disappoint you so, as your favorite son.”

By the time his lips were pressing against her temple RuYi would be able to feel the smirk on his features. The vaguely affectionate gesture was over as soon as it began, though the grin only widened as he parted from her. A grin that promised mischief and terrible things for someone’s future before giving her a little, carefree wave.
