One last piece for the time being. Trizantine with medallions necklace. This is a delicate piece, done in 20 gauge copper and brass, with the trizantine strand no thicker than 5mm in width. Almost a thousand rings carefully worked into it. I hope folks are as pleased with it as we are!

Perhaps we should stick to a simpler earring? How about boxweave in anodized aluminum, 16 gauge rings, a third the heft of steel and copper?
So, we've been putting up too many bracelets? Alright. How about the 'Trizantine Triple', with more rings across the pair of them than in most of our basic bracelets? 18 gauge rings of copper and brass, three strands of trizantine ending in mobius flowers.Â
I'm not gonna say that we're addicted to the Mobius Flowers over here.. but.. yeah. We have a weakness for them. So here they are in our 'Fire' color set, in 16 gauge rings of anodized aluminum.

With the hopes of giving people shiny things to look at, here's what will hopefully be the first of many pieces being shown. Half Persian 4-in-1 Doubled, in anodized aluminum, 16gauge and 20 gauge ring sizes.
In other news that we forgot to mention, we're supporting Desert Bus 8 this year by donating crafts to it!  Check them out at https://desertbus.org/ and help them raise more money for Childs Play! The Bus begins on the 14th of November, at 10am PST.
Oh my! It's been a long time since I properly took care of Tumblr over here, hasn't it? Well, in the past several months, there's been a lot of work done on the website, and a -lot- of new items have gone up. There's still more to work on (and we hope to tackle that soon), but in the meantime, lets have a few lovely pieces up, including our redone dicebags, using a smaller ring size for a nicer looking weave. Or a Dragonscale cuff done by commission in a nice rainbow pattern. And finally a simple Half Persian 4-in-1 in something befitting a Halloween update.
 Finally getting ready for another website update. It's been a while, but a good friend is overhauling all the code 'under the hood' to get things to react more consistently across the various browsers, even so far as to work with IE. As such, I've got a fair number of new weaves that need to go up, as well as some pieces by the other people working with me, and need to decide if I should offer beadwork as well as the chainmaille.
 Anyhow! The first piece above is Byzantine Lace, in copper and brass.. It's fairly similar to the byzantine sheet, but for my own opinion, I find it more elegant. It allows for a tighter weave, without looking like 'Rings everywhere!', and allows for nice color contrasts.
 The second piece is a lanyard made for a friend in anodized aluminum, that despite being really very long, it is no heavier than a steel or brass choker a third it's size. He was looking for a three color set, so we went with an expanding pattern. I've heard it's caught a fair amount of attention so far.

Another five weaves have made the way up to site, which I do look forward to seeing in shiny anodized aluminium colors sometime when I have the spare rings or commissions to match up. I'm particularly enjoying Dragonsteps, it is both enjoyable to look at, as well as a neat feeling texture.
After a month of being 'stumped' by dealing with issues on a chainmaille shirt commission... (Sleeves.. sleeves are eeevil. To those of you that sew, think of trying to do a sleeve with the worst canvas cloth, with no stretch and likes to flop around in odd spots. Argh!) .. Well, it was time to do something nice for myself to wear again. Once again, 14g AWG/1.6mm rings, lobster claw clasp, and finished the 'sizer' chain with a large bead of tiger eye. Probably going to redo that when I lay hands on some better wire to use for a better color match up.. but I'm enjoying it at as is, at least.
