In DK: Jungle Climber, Diddy Kong's shirt as seen in his cutscene model is inaccurate to both his regular depiction in all other media and even official art for the game itself.

Top: whenever Diddy Kong raises his arms in-game, it becomes apparent that the two stars on his shirt are the same size. Please note that to choose the best frame to showcase this, the text was still in the middle of being displayed.

Middle: the model extracted from the game's files, confirming this.

Bottom: however, Diddy Kong's shirt normally should have a bigger star on the right and a smaller star on the left, as seen in this artwork for DK: Jungle Climber itself.

The reason for this is that using a mirrored design allows the game to use a texture that is half the size, and then mirror it, to save space.

Profanity filters on single-player games are just so... incredibly performative. They don't 'protect' the player from seeing the word (you have to type it in order to activate the filter), the only thing they do is scold the player.

My favorite solution to people who get offended at the things they themselves typed is a disclaimer on a puzzle page that said "If you type profanity you will see it."

It's really funny and jarring when you encounter a profanity filter in a single-player m-rated grown-up game for adults, but I don't think they even make sense in kid's games. If anything I think "If you tell the computer to call you FuckNugget it will do that" is exactly the sort of obvious, low-stakes 'actions have consequences' lesson that's perfect for kids.
