I’m now here with muse the third, the Mad Catter, Quatre/Feower of the Eternals! Some helpful information so that you may survive a wild encounter with this knife cat!

Cannot emphasize the angle or devil bit, he can either be a really charming and calm individual or scream at the top of his lungs how much he wants to kill you

No but seriously don’t get on his bad side he’s very loud 

“Really now? Well, you must be quite talented then. Not many are blessed with the ability to make a weapon out of anything.”

“Hohoh. I don’t mean to frighten you. The truth is that there is no exact answer as to how long your stay in this city will be, some people are here one day and gone the next and there are also those who have been here for years on end. It varies and seems to have no correlation when it comes to each individual person. So, you may as well make yourself comfortable. No matter how much you struggle, you’ll find no way back.”

“ One learns a lot of talents in the face of necessity when it comes to survival. Talent like that is born from desperation. “ Still, he shakes his head and sighs. A part of him was concerned that might’ve been the case, he just needed to hear it from someone who had an actual voice of reason to him. 

     ✂ Slowly opening and closing the dull blades of her sorry scissors, Three listens to the stranger’s words. However… From an outside perspective, it doesn’t seem like she is at all. Whether or not the other is aware of such a fact, however, matters little to the Intoner.

     ❝ I’m curious… What do you think I would use leaves as stuffing for…? ❞

“  Blankets, dolls, whatever have you. You seem rather enamored with them, I’ve just never seen people your age toss about in them in such a manner. “ That laugh was already more than enough for Quatre to tell that the content’s of this individual’s mind were a scrambled mess at best. It was a definite notion to watch out in case it turned out she was even crazier than he thought and that the chance those scissors would find their way into his neck was all but a rational possibility at this point. 

Well that’s a better reaction than crying. A nice distraction. You’re absolutely welcome, Quatre! That’s a freebie. The redhead just laughs, takes a puff of his cigarette.

“A crap.” He clarifies. Then tips his head to one side as if he’s pondering the comment.

“Yeah, cause it’s my job. I get paid for it. You know, paid? Money? But coincidence, a dump, fate, call it whatever you want. If you want to see if I had some tp on me for emergencies like that, you can ask.”

⟐ Quatre had every right in his mind to use the wooden blades he was given in this city to gut the cur for his disgusting tongue, but he had outed himself as someone who may have had information for the right price. A damn shame seeing as he didn’t have any money on him, but at the same time there were always other ways to barter for this kind of stuff. The only question was how far could he keep his bile contained talking with him to actually get anything useful.

     it would have been helpful if their oh so exuberant captain had decided to send a warning text her way. just a quick little message that another one of the Eternals was now on the island with them. it, of course, would have caused Song to perk with a smile and search them out. even without her eyesight and ability to fly to help her, she could find just about anyone if she put her mind to it. but, as fate would have it, she was the one who had been found first.

       she doesn’t need to ask any questions. doesn’t need to give a confused look as to just why her fellow Eternal was acting the way he was. it was obvious, wasn’t it? she was far too relaxed compared to him. in a situation where one has been kidnapped, powers stripped, weapons taken…..she’s seemingly far too calm, right? Song has had some time to adapt to her new situation, and with what she learned from Siete, discovered what she needed to in order to live her life here. of course, there is always that little nagging worry of how the skies back home would fare– who would protect it? what if something cataclysmal happened there and she was unable to help? it wasn’t an easy thing to deal with, but Song managed to handle that worry, along with everything else.

                  but for him, this was all new, wasn’t it?

    “ Hey, Quatre! Welcome to Radiale! “ no, she was not going to address the elephant in the room….er, beach. easily does she swipe up another drink from a nearby stand, approaching to stretch it out to him. “ Here, try it– there’s a lot of neat flavors! I think this one may be kiwi….”

⟐ Crunch. That was the unpleasant sound of the cup reaching Quatre’s fingers only for him to break the cup apart in his grip, the scowl on his face only growing as the atmosphere around him reached peak mass, causing others to step away from him briefly seeing at how furious one guy could get. Of course, this was Song he was talking about. Someone generally responsible, and fairly reliable. At least, until he caught wind of her lazing about in this city without a care in the world, trying to cozy him up to their new captivity. 

“ How unfortunate. I fear that Siete’s stupidity has reached the point of lethal contagion. No harm, however. Most diseases are removed through intense means. I’ll simply deal with it at a later date. “ It was fairly clear that despite Siete’s irresponsibility, there was little bad blood between himself and Song.. despite run ins with their respective Revenant Weapons but a story for another day. He would shake his head, spitting back a bit of his spite as he looked back up at her, dropping the remaining pieces of the cup he crushed.

      ✂ ❝ Hmm… Leaves might do for stuffing… For now… ❞ mumbling to herself, the Intoner currently is sitting inside a pile of leaves, very lazily sifting through them. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that she’s really just moving them around to hear the delightful rustling and occasional ‘crunch’ the leaves give rather than examining them… However, one wouldn’t know such a fact simply looking at Three’s monotone expression.

      ❝ Reminds me of the Land of Forests, though… These leaves seem to be less crunchy, however… That’s disappointing… ❞

⟐ The rustling of leaves with a body in it was something Quatre normally wouldn’t bat an eyelash to. With summer coming to an end and the leaves on trees turning their regular bright green to more dull, dark colors, he remembers the sight of children in Stardust gathering piles of the things to jump into for their own entertainment. While unbothered by such, it took him to realize it was more akin to an older woman doing so.. which raised a few uneasy questions, given the strange, monotonous tone she gave off.. along with a very unsettling air around her.

“Are those individuals really eating the merchandise…? Of course i suspected that some of the items smelled sweet enough to consume but I didn’t think that other’s would actually take a bite of them..”  surely her out loud comment caught the attention of a nearby stander and her expression likely didn’t aid in hiding her curiosity. Yanli was more than perplexed at the current actions unfolding before her, people taking bites out of common household objects and returning for more without bating an eye. Perhaps it was her that was odd in this circumstance and this was a common day to day occurrence in this land? Whichever it happened to be, she only came into the shop to look at a tea set she caught a glimpse at through the window. Carefully picking up one of the cups from the set the handle seemed to snap off within her hand. A worried expression crossed her features as the rest of the cup hit the ground. Expecting a crash Yanli flinched but nothing came. 

“Huh ? ! Its chocolate..???” she exclaimed out loud more confused than before as she looked at the handle within her hand and noted that it was beginning to already melt. 

⟐ Quatre was quick on the mark to understand the game being played here. And quite frankly, he wasn’t impressed. It was an incredibly silly game of biting into objects to see if they were candy, and the idea of chipping a tooth on a cup or silverware wasn’t quite on his list of things to do. Although he felt obligated to possibly tell Sarasa about it. Heavens know how much she’ll eat without even caring it’s not candy, a delightful sight in the utmost of sarcastic remarks. His ears picked up a remark from a passerby to such an event, giving them a passing glance. 

“ It looks to be some kind of gimmick event where you test everything to see if its edible. I suppose some find their own ways to entertain themselves but this isn’t a particular one I find myself enthralled with. “ His eyes watched as she picked up a glass, only to watch it crumble and crack with a dull thud, revealing lines of thin chocolate making up the body of the tea cup with a raised eyebrow. 

Badou’s practically paying rent to frequent abandoned alleys with nothing but stray cats and garbage. It’s why he merely stares at Quatre and his breakdown for a couple of moments, leaned up against the wall of one of the buildings closing in on their, his cigarette poised between his fingers.

“Don’t think this is the place to have a freak out, man. A dude took a dump over there, so that can’t clear the air.” 

Shouldn’t people have their existential crisis’ at home? Or in the toilet or something…not in the middle of an alley during a festival. Then again Badou’s a nosy sort either way, so it’s probably more interesting to him to see it happen out here in the semi-public.

“ A--A what?! “ Quatre would be rather outright with his disgust both at the forward attitude of the man who had found himself eavesdropping on himself as well as his crude attitude, as well as the fact he had been telling the truth. The distorted, disgusted face of Quatre spoke a thousand words as he quickly stepped out of the alleyway, brushing his hand past his nose and gritting his teeth.

“Is it possible to loose and gain brain-cells at the same time?”

“You won’t have to settle for long. There are certain conditions that need to be met, but you’ll be able to receive your actual weapons back with time. They must be custom-tailored if you find cheap knives hard to use, am I correct?”

“ I can use short of anything as a weapon in a pinch if needed, but the weapons I had before me aren’t common blades. I’ve however had some bad experiences with them, they serve their purpose better than anything I could hope to find elsewhere. “ 

⟐ Empty alley ways.. he was quite accustomed to them, running through them, but since few people went by them they were quiet enough to think. He leaned himself against one of the walls, biting his bottom lip as he tapped his forearm with his arms crossed and eyes closed, trying to calm down to think rationally. 

“ Alright, think..! Don’t get worked up now, no point in it.. figure out more about this place, find a way out. Just have to think and calm down, think.. and calm down..! “

⟐ Luck may have had his side in this moment when he recognized the familiar archer of the crew. Although her appearance left him momentarily stunned silent in shock when he saw her dressed just as tacky as Siete had been, drinking from a hollowed out watermelon shell enjoying the festivities as well. His teeth were grit as he stared at her, very slowly reaching his sanity limits. 

“ Y--You’ve got to be kidding me..! You too, Song..?! “

“Oh, just sharpen them to a point. That’ll make people think twice when they approach you.”
