I honestly think Gen-Z and younger simply does not understand how recent widespread smartphone adoption is.

I am not that old, and I didn't have a smartphone until probably late high school. For most of my life, many if not most people were not walking around with a magic internet machine in their pocket that they pulled out and used constantly for everything.

#the aforementioned sweatshirt i am embroidering upon #i could have asked my designer friend to clean up the typeface for me #but chose not to. the half-baked clunkiness is part of it

emotionally i want to wear a sweatshirt so badly. logistically i have about five hot flashes every hour so a sweatshirt is just not practicable.

#hot flash blogging will cease in a few more weeks once my oncologist lets me have estrogen #but until then…. lock in or unfollow tbh #i made a luxuriantly oversized one in a thickish cotton rib knit (not looped or brushed on the back) that allows for a lot of airflow #and it is pretty good #currently out of circulation because i am embroidering on it 🪡
