I got so excited when I heard Aiden was releasing more music, but The Way We Are.. I just don't like it and it makes me so sad that I don't.

I think Misty Eye was a stunning album. Catchy, melodic, well crafted... and I just don't get that from The Way We Are. I sort of feel like the effect used on his vocals make it not sound like him. I was waiting for a big chorus, but it never seemed to come.

I really hope that the rest of the songs on the EP are more catchy. I'm not asking for Misty Eye-part two, he's got to experiment and grow, but I just feel like Aiden's a lot better than this.

Ranting at HMV is making me feel better...

Anyone else (pun intended) who hasn’t received The Fire today from HMV when they pre-ordered it should join me in sending ranting emails at them!

I’m getting more angry at this email goes on :P

Even the TV is rubbing it in my face and throwing pretty adverts for the album at me…

HMV... A new low.

HMV are now forcing staff to look smart? No tattoos, tidy hair, denim skirts.. what the actual fuck? The company's problems are not down to their staff looking 'different' it's down to their bad decision making. Having staff that are all pissed off certainly isn't going to make them work harder. Skirt? Why? Is a girl in jeans offensive to anyone? What happened to going into HMV and only caring if

the person behind the counter could help you? I've had hair every colour under the sun and only ever got people complimenting it. It was a talking point to start engaging with the customer. I no longer work for HMV, but if this is the route they're going down now, I'm glad I got out. Excuse my rambling. I've just got off a 12 hour shift with a company that allows me to be me.
