Kayla awoke with a start. Her breaths were audible, barely uttering a voice of some kind.  While the fever she felt was gone, she was still drenched in sweat, and the sheets looked like they soaked up a mess on the floor.  The dreams were still fresh on the mind, particularly the forest and…whatever was going on between her, Yelena and Breeana.  They both felt very strange, even in the cognizance of her memories. It was as if she walked through a door to a completely different place and hadn’t realized it.

She looked around.  It was now 11 PM.  That’s weird.  For the two dreams she remembered happening, she felt she slept a lot longer than that.  Grabbing her phone, she wanted to know if she missed something.  There were actually a few messages, including a couple from Breanna wondering if everything was all right.  Of course they were, she thought, why would there be problems?

Then she saw the day: Saturday.  She hadn’t been asleep for two hours, but more than 24.  How did that happen?  Did she just enter a coma or something?  That was really off.  But even if she was sick, her dreams don’t tend to act up like that.  Something was really off about this.  Well, no matter, she didn’t feel tired.  So she got up to go to the bathroom.

That’s when she felt something brush along her inner thigh.

That’s funny, she thought.  She doesn’t recall wearing panties.  What could be down there?  She took a quick look.
