A late summer’s day in Paris. 14th September 2016.
Okay friends, here is one more picture from Switzerland 🇨🇠(for now). Doing what's best: laying in the uncut mountain grass, taking photographs. This one's from 2010 and shot with a Lomo DianaF on KodakPortra VC medium format.
Toward sunset we entered a beautiful green valley dotted with châlets, a cosy little domain, hidden away from the busy world in a cloistered nook, among giant precipices topped with snowy peaks that seemed to float like islands above the curling surf of vapour that severed them from the lower world. - Mark Twain, A Tramp Abroad
A light evening breeze coming through the open windows of the tram car, softly breaking up the dense atmosphere of the day. Thousands of neon lit messages trying to outperform each other in delivering their trivial messages, unaware that the addressed cannot decipher the foreign code. This is ‪#‎Hongkong‬

Stepping out of the station building at Beijing West, we suddenly realised, we were not alone.
Do you know where this shot was taken? Another major ‪Milestone‬ we will surely revisit on our epic ‪‎rail‬ ‪‎trip‬ next year! (I'm pretty sure you've already identified this famous ‎landmark‬ - if in doubt you can find a hint on instagram.com/fortythousandmiles)
Hong Kong - just one of the many exciting places we will revisit on our ‪grand voyage! Here is a great view of Hong Kong Island from the Victoria Harbour Starferry pier in Tsim Sha Tsui - a snapshot from our last China journey
We’ve been driving up to Lac Retaud in the summers since I was a kid. Time stands still here. Even those two red and blue rowing boats have been there for as long as I can remember.

Hop aboard a 1970s Amtrak. It’s all the rage and very groovy.
NASA vs Amtrak vs the National Park Service
Space tourism is still a ways off, but NASA, everybody’s favorite government agency, released some pretty sweet posters for destinations you’ll (hopefully!) be able to visit someday.Â
Turns out, they’re not the only agency with some pretty rad graphic design. Here’s one of Amtrak’s iconic rail lines.Â
And this poster for Yellowstone National Park, from 1938.Â
Although NASA claims there might be a few more geysers to see on Enceladus
Or maybe take a trip closer to home.
Or go visit the histroic Sequoia National Park. This poster is from the early 40′s.Â
For the history buff, see some of NASA’s historic sites, on Mars!
But even NASA knows, there’s only one Earth, “Your Oasis in Space.”Â
See the full NASA collection over at their website.Â
