@dystcpiia​: fuya seems to be picked on by some random guys. it's so common to see some thugs wanting to bully someone weaker than them and he could hear them demanding to hand over the money he has with him and other items. of course takeda will not let this go on as he is quick to step between them. 

as expected they didn't like him to step in and one tried to attack him which had takeda promptly react and act accordingly as how he was teached during his lessons on judo by flipping the guy over and slam him on the ground. that was enough to scare them. cowards.

takeda is quick to turn to face fuya with a worried look and looking for any injury. good thing he has none, he is safe. "are you okay? they didn't do anything to you?"

                     he was just going to give in and walk the plank. No point in trying to open ship fire these kinds of thugs when they would only disarm him and beat the living daylights out of him if he tried anything. Fuya just isn’t in any mood to have his money taken either way -- save his dignity and give what little coin he had in his wallet. He would continue upstream after that. It was all he could do.

Just as Fuya was reaching into his pocket his entire vision is blocked by the pure mass of another person three times his own width and much taller. Jaw slack, he looks up toward the familiar back of Takeda’s head. The damned Whaleshark was acting more like a Guardian sent to govern over his waters, always stepping in when predators were making their moves.

He grabs his arm, ready to pull him back and away from the plankton -- what if they are armed? What if he gets hurt? Even with his mass a good stab to the arm would still do him in. Yet, they seem to mistake a gentle Whaleshark for a Great White and jump ship before an altercation can break loose. 

Fuya can only stare at Takeda when he turns to check upon him with only concern for Fuya’s own safety.

“ You-- ”

“ You Dumb Gulper Shark! I was just going to end this invasion peacefully ! What if they had been armed ! They could have done battle with you! ” He grabs at Takeda’s arms and grips at the fabric of his sleeves, facing the ground as the feeling of tears threaten at the edge of his eyes.

Takeda was starting to mean more and more to him and that was more terrifying than any deep waters.
