So this is it. 6 years ago if you were to ask me what I wanted to do with my life, no one would’ve imagined I’d be a nurse. Today, I ended a part of my journey and a whole new one awaits me. Looking back, I think about all the things I’ve done wrong, more than the ones I did right. I’d be lying if I say there weren’t times where I wanted to run away, hide and give up entirely. Oh, the bitter sweet memories. To many, it’s just 6 years of studies. To me, it was a lifetime battle with myself day in, day out. It was the struggles and the hustles I’ve juggled all my life. It was fighting my demons, if you knew me from way back then. To me, it’s all the terrible mistakes I made, all the time wasted my entire being on shit when I could’ve built myself earlier, it was the heartbreaks.. oh, the heartbreaks... It was the loneliness in a crowded place, it was the starting overs. Sigh. So this is for myself. This is for my parents, my family, my friends, my future. This is for those who believed in me, even more for those who didn’t. This is for those who left and never came back. This is for the ones who stayed by my side, providing me reasons to press on. I’m still in disbelief, and I’m still unsure of how to feel about this. But since the beginning of time, I’ve told myself that no matter what it is, I’ve been through worse, even when I haven’t. So I’ll live on with that. I can officially say now; IT’S A FUCKING WRAP! https://www.instagram.com/p/CT6N8nABSsoIOA8lh3BtFSjVpyVaX4XH32jwas0/?utm_medium=tumblr
