Itâs overwhelming and oddly new. Itâs familiar in a way as he recalls rising from a pile of bandages, the body a mere copy of what he once was, the real one being paraded around by a demon with blood lustâ
His jaw falls open as he breathes in, chest feeling tighter and tighter. He wasnât dreaming, but this couldnât be real. He couldnât be real. As Peter swoops in Stilesâ own arms wrap around the otherâs shoulders tightly, heart racing in his chest. It was all wrong wrong wrong.
âPeterâŚ?â It comes out as more of a question than it should, even as the whimper it was. He knew who was there, holding him now. He looked in his eyes, counted on the man to catch him, and he did. The confusion was as overwhelming as the sensations come with returning to his body. âWhatâd you do? What- whatâŚâ He pauses, throat tight when he swallows. âPeter what happened? Why am IâŚâ
He doesnât know how he feels, what to think, what he wants besides an answer. He wants to feel warm, he doesnât want Peter to ever let go. A part of him wants to close his eyes and shut back down and never have to deal with whatever this was, but he was alive, he couldnât really mean that.
peter knew that this wasnât supposed to happen, that in the real world things like this definitely didnât happen to people. nobody knew about the supernatural and they couldnât just find a coven and do what peter had done. not that it was easily, because it definitely wasnât, however it had made it happen. and even with stiles in his arms it almost still didnât feel real.
â shh.. â was the first thing from his mouth, as he knew the other would confused, though he hadnât blamed him for that at all either. â iâll answer every question you have, just not here. â the wolf spoke as he was keeping the boy wrapped tightly in his arms, not wanting to let go at all.
â wanna get you home, get you warm then iâll answer every question. â peter knew there were going to be a lot, and probably quite a few that he hadnât wanted to answer even. though for stiles he would do anything, and he was pretty sure that his point had been proven - by just what heâd done to actually bring stiles back to him.
heâd hardly even registered that his body had been in a squatting position until he was moving to stand up, bringing the other with him. peter hadnât even given stiles the option to walk on his own, as peter was all but scooping him up to walk to the car.
