Friendly Reminders From and For The Balance Arc

Thank you, anon. Personally, physically speaking, I am as fine as I was when I started this blog.

It's simply that, well, I started this blog at the peak of my hyperfocus on The Adventure Zone: Balance, and currently, my brain has wandered onto other interests. 

I do thank you for what you've said, though, and I will try to answer questions whenever I have the mind and energy to answer them. 

 I thank you any and all support I receive, thank you for it.

Long Version: It’s currently unknown if killing the Hunger Form of a creature actually kills them or not, and whether they were brought back to life or not after the Hunger was undone. Also, it’s important to know that John was leader and/or catalyst of the Hunger, he and the Hunger aren’t 100% percent a single entity, as shown from his and Merle’s parleys.

That being said, if we consider that killing a Hunger Form of a creature kills the being, then Taako definitely killed John. Whether or not he was brought back to life by Jeffandrew or not is another story, but Taako definitely killed him there. Unless he didn’t die, then he was at least severally incapacitated.

Lucretia, on the other hand, was the one to end the Hunger by cutting off it’s ties. She is the one who killed the Hunger. It is important to remember that the planes collected by the Hunger were returned, so it’s possible that the plane that the Hunger originated from is back to a defaulted state.

Episode 39, the eleventh episode of the Crystal Kingdom arc. It’s described right after they boys... remove said relic from the insides of Magnus.

Currently, as of the posting of this fact post, there has yet to be a single interaction, let alone death of a kobold by any member of the McElroys’ characters, let alone any character present in any canonical The Adventure Zone products.

Therefore, no kobolds where harmed in the making of this podcast.

It was only Magnus’ death that was described, yes. 

Well, I mean the blog’s not shutting down or anything, it’s just that there’s only one person running the blog and that one person’s not currently either in the best mood to fully blast through the many questions they have, nor are they sure who to bring in to help with answering everything. Everything here’s just in a state or hiatus until further notice.

Also between drafts and asks, I’ve got like 301+ questions to go through and answer.

That said, I can recommend The Adventure Zone Wiki as a fan-made resource of information for whatever it is you need, including lists on what each character has. 

I also use @tazscripts‘ Google Docs Transcripts for information and quoting, as shown by all the direct quoting I use. 

You didn’t ask for that one. That one’s a freebie on me. 

Anyhow, I do recommend using those sites for any information you may need. The original concept for this blog, which I do plan to return to once the mood kicks in, was to help fill in the gaps on information that may have slipped by after a cursory listen to of The Adventure Balance.

This blog was created near the end of Balance after noticing a lot of confusion towards events happening. I’d say which events, but it’s been a real hot and spicy minute, so I honestly couldn’t tell you, since I forgot.

I wouldn’t want you to be out of the loop with your cosplay, so this is a quick post.

The patches are detailed twice, once when THB receive them as Candlenights gifts:

They’re these dark blue circle like, iron-on emblems and inside of each of these blue fabric circles, there is, there are 12 more circles. All different colors sort of around the outside of each badge. And in the middle is a word that is written in a language that none of you recognize, you cannot read, you cannot make out what the word is, what these badges are for because you can’t seem to read this word in the middle…

And later when they follow the Red Robe into his cave:

Griffin: And there’s another thing in this room that catches your eye: a small, plain, wooden chest. And draped over that chest is a red robe. Like an—like an actual, tangible red robe, not the personification that you’ve been talking to. And sewn into its breast you see a familiar sight. You see a circular patch, with a design containing twelve multicolored circles, and a sort of like… shifting, imparsable text in the middle of it. Only Magnus, you can read that text as plain as day. It’s an acronym, and it says: “I.P.R.E.”

It has already been discussed what the colour of the twelve (12) circles are before, as they represent the planar system. 

I need someone to help me run this blog.

As you can see, I haven’t updated very recently, and that’s because I’ve sort of fallen out in love with The Adventure Zone. Not to say I don’t like it, of course, but I tend to focus on certain things and I haven’t gotten TAZ back into my interests.

Just to be clear, I’m not getting rid of this blog, I’m just going through a hiatus at the moment. I do think maybe I bit a little more than I could chew, but this is still here, and I’m not deleting anything no one wants me to not delete.

If we considered that Barry used the spell Clone, which I’ll just put it’s description here,then it probably took Barry/Lup to grow a new body in, like, four months.

We’re not sure; Griffin hasn’t given us all of the details of Lucretia’s life between then and now.

All we do know is that she:

brought the Boys to their “new” lives

kept tabs on the Boys’ lives for an unspecified amount of time (but definitely for enough time to see the better part of their lives)  

she collected the Bulwark Staff somehow

she spent some time looking for the other Grand Relics before coming across Wonderland

she found out about Wonderland

She did some research on Wonderland

she went into Wonderland with Cam

left Wonderland without Cam and 20 years of her life

went to the Millers for help

gave the Millers the soul gem from cycle 17, as to help with researching how to put spirits into robot bodies
