AU information (AKA: beginning breakdown)

Things had been going… roughly the same for everyone as of recent. The same death game, the same enclosed cabin, and the same people surrounding them. It had become monotonous, almost. In fact, it’d become so monotonous that it became less and less bothersome, which The Spectre didn’t exactly find appealing.

In fact, The Spectre had… almost grown bored? And so, having grown bored of the repetitive happenings of the games they forced everyone to put on, they came up with a proposition: “Forgive yourself, and everyone else, and you can go back.”

It almost seemed… like a trick, at first. No one wanted to trust The Spectre, not after everything they’d been through… But one came forward with a question.

“When you say everyone, does that include the ones you pitted against us?”

A valid question, from an unsurprising face: 007n7. Understandable he’d be the one asking. But, after a long and tense moment, The Spectre confirmed that’d indeed be the case. Everyone, every soul in this hellhole of a death game, would be freed. They would be expected to start anew with familiar faces and shared trauma, but they would be home.

And so, after a long while of consideration, the deal was taken. Home at last, with those familiar, and those thought long gone.
