Hey guys! Just wanted to update everyone that Iโve been diagnosed with carpal and cupital tunnel in both hands and arms. So, going forward, there may not be much activity until I go through my physical therapy treatments etc.
Going forward Iโm gonna separate everything by glaggles grooming I made for my amazing friends so itโs more light hearted! ๐โค๏ธ
I started learning how to do things with my left hand and then WOOPS! That one also isnโt good either haha. Drawing is really painful, Iโm trying to rework the way I draw completely, and always make sure Iโm doing it with a brace on. It takes a minute of raw drawing for it to shoot pins and needles up and down from my wrist to my elbow. So itโs kind of off the table without breaks and relearning.
I canโt pick stuff up anymore which makes me angry sometimes, canโt play the flute for too long or it hurts, canโt cut with a knife because ooo that hurts too. Itโs super humbling to have friends and family cut my food for me. Thank you guys I love you Iโm learning to let you do things for me ๐ฅบโค๏ธ
Itโs been a really rough journey since the pain came about in November last year. November was so bad Iโd wake up after only a few hours of sleep and just cry because the pain was so piercing and unbearable.
Urgent care did some tests and officially diagnosed me with carpal tunnel and cupital tunnel and send me to an orthopedist who stabbed me(bloodwork), electrocuted me(EMG), and gave me radiation(X-rays) and found nothing. So my primary care doctor definently thinks itโs from abusing my arms.
But!!! Iโve been learning boundaries with myself!! How to ask for help! And itโs been so much better with rest and not trying to do everything.
So thank you all to my lovelies who have loved me here, I donโt know when Iโll come back but I know I will. I love all of you!
P.s.
I also havenโt been hanging out in the fandom as much because Iโve been into Roblox forsaken a lot. Is anyone interested in seeing the art Iโve created from there? I can make a new account or just post it here but Iโm sure most people who follow me are probably just here for sans heehee
