i remember seeing an analysis talking about how tenna defines himself based off of his relationships with others rather than his own characteristics as a person (e.g dreemurrs, spamton, mettaton, whoever else) and feels aimless when he’s forced to just exist as a person by himself. anddd very good analysis but it just reminds me that noelle is kind of The same… she defines herself by dess, being dess’ little sister, missing dess. being rudy’s daughter. she was kris’ friend and misses them. she has a crush on susie and thinks about her a lot. but none of these are Actual things about her. of course we know she has her own rich inside world, but you have to really dig in to find out, because noelle in the normal really does not make too much of an attempt to define herself as her own person and not dependent on others.. you only really get to see her fully take agency and choose to define herself by her own wants in the weird route, and even then it’s Warped. anyway i think noelle and tenna are very similar and everyone should be on this

man i really hope chapter 6 castle town has more stuff i think my biggest disappointment is how much castle town lacks Anything aside from a couple brief interactions. like itd be so delightful if there were small quests you could do for npcs or interactions like u can do with the flowers but with certain npcs in castle town
