just finished a drop of corruption! surprised that tumblr isn't more into the shadow of the leviathan series, especially because it has such compelling characters, both of whom are deeply autistic-coded and queer (okay, ana isn't canonically queer but she is. to me). highly recommend for holmesian fans, especially if you wish holmes was a woman lmao. no spoilers but ana fulfills so many of my favourite "character vs. the myths they've created around themselves" themes. need more fanart of her immediately.

funny thing is I went into reading iwwv not even knowing it was gay and I got literally shooketh by that totally brotherly kiss....like i clocked oliver and james right away but I didn't think it'd actually be CANON???

One of my favourite facts about if we were villains is that one of the characters hooks up with their teacher within a week of being involved in the murder of their classmate. And that is the longest lasting and seemingly also the healthiest relationship in the entire book.
