i miss the late 2000s trend where artists would play their own romantic rivals in music videos

ngl I kinda get sus anytime I see a post denouncing all femininity/saying women are only feminine bc of the patriarchy/women are brainwashed to be feminine/no women would be feminine if men didn't want them to etc etc bc A. it removes women's agency to express themselves however they want and assumes women only present theirselves as feminine to please men (which is immediately disproven if you talk to a femme lesbian), B. anti-femininity can very easily slip into misandry/homophobia, and C. imo can act as a dogwhistle for radfems. Like if you don't want to be feminine that is totally fine!! It is your body and how you choose to express yourself is completely up to you. But don't dog on other people who don't have the same feelings as you regarding femininity.
