>>Landon was busy doing errands today. Todayâs errands consisted of doing groceries and picking up the laundry. He strolled along the sidewalk, carrying a couple of bags in his arms, attempting to hurry so they didnât fall to the pavement before he got home.Â
>>It was a quiet street so Rolandâs voice carried a bit when he chimed up. The red head stops in place, glancing around before looking back. Oh. He looked lost. He supposed he could give him directions at least.Â
>>âOh! Um, this street itâs ahhh, not 3rd Street.â he starts, attempting to think of which street this was. Landon wasnât the type to remember street names. He was just good at directions.Â
>>âItâs a couple of streets down from the grocers..?â he answers, âIâm not good with names, but I can tell you that you took a wrong turn yeah..â
âOh.â
âThanks, uh...which grocer?âÂ
Not that it mattered, without the street name Roland could hardly tell downtown from uptown. He readjusted his hat nervously. Maybe heâd just wait around until someone else came along. However, from the looks of the sky this was his last hope unless he wanted to come home to a chewing.Â
âLook, d-do you happen to know the closest landmark? A park? A statue? A map store?âÂ
He bit his tongue, that sounded a tad bit too snappy for his liking, he didnât want to insult the poor guy. Get it together, Roland.. âI mean...anything like that is fine. If you donât know thatâs dandy too I-â
Oh man, was he ever screwed.Â
