Gray eyes finding his own after tilting up her head a bit to look at him. Long silver hair only lightly ruffled by the wind after she made the walk all the way to his place. She wasn’t even wearing a heavy jacket either, but she wasn’t shivering too badly after waiting for him to answer the door.
She at least has to give some attempt in keeping her tone even, but her fingers do grip the straps of her bag a bit tighter as she steps into his room. Yui doesn’t miss how his hand brushes against her shoulder before glancing up at him again, “You told me to come if you contact me,” she lightly replies to him. To anyone else who didn’t know Yui, such a reply would be so deadpan, but within the year of her stay at Inaba she had been trying to express herself a bit better.
Yui’s voice went a bit softer and she shrugs a little, obviously hinting that she herself was probably bored…What else would she do? “…I was wondering about your place as well…”
The faint whiff of smoke and the sight of how…Messy the apartment looks makes her tilt her head to the side as she studies her new surroundings.
No wonder he felt the need to always come to her home…Her uncle’s house, as often as he did. Yui doesn’t bother much in hiding her curiosity and a bit of disapproval after slipping out of her loafers and stepping further into his place.
“…I brought food by the way,” Yui speaks up before taking a moment to pick up an empty can…Holding it up and examining it before promptly looking for a trash bin, “You didn’t eat yet did you.”
' Ah yeah, I haven't yet. ' He'd sigh, a hand reaching to rub at the back of his neck. In all honesty he was simply waiting for the other to come over and hoped that she'd bring something to eat- and how reliable she was. It was always that way between them ever since their bond became tighter. Though now a days the girl really seemed to put time aside from him, coming at his beck and call to show her loyalty twords him.
She knew the truth after all, and she was the one who decided to destroy it.
The door was shut behind the girl as she came inside, the house just slightly warmed by a space heater that was in the corner of the room. It was different to have her here at his own house, rather than visiting her at the Dojima residence; but it also felt nice to have more alone time with the girl.
His dull eyes looked over rather curious to what Yui had brought over tonight. By now she had grown to know what the man likes and dislikes, considering before they got even closer he’d share break time from work at Junes with the girl, and of course there was the fact that he’d always end up eating with her uncle; the food usually being take out, easy cooking from Nanako, or the rare meals from Yui herself.
‘ Sooooo, what’d you bring? I can’t believe I have the honor of having such a cute girl like you here to cook for me, Yui-Chan~ ‘
His tone sounded teasing with that smile on his face, though one could also take it as sounding rather creepy if you didn’t know him too well.
