a diamond dozen

Idk if anyone still even follows this blog (follow as in keep-up with) but I’d like to do some shameless advertising for a sec and promote my current comic.

I got into fallout 4 in the summer of 2017, and despite never having played a fallout game in my life and being 2 years late, the praise and response I received from people on my art is amazing! especially with this comic!! Thank you all so much for supporting me. The fallout 4 fandom will always hold a special place in my heart for being the thing that propelled me to new heights. It’s cause of you that I became confident in promoting and dedicating myself to my original art!

Trying to do anything at the same time as school is nuts. Remember school won't be your whole life. Use art to relax, not as a commitment right now.

ugh, I’m sorry. All this talk about how proud I am and how much I’ve accomplished only to stop now. This isn’t a forever goodbye, I’m just facing brass tacks.

with my job, school, work, other art and online classes, I feel myself just not wanting to work on this comic anymore. Don’t get me wrong- I loved it! but now I feel like I’m putting out stuff at the end of the week just to do it, and that sucks. I’m just glad to have the experience of doing this and having the fo4 fandom back me so much even as a newbie who had no idea what I was doing.

so yeah, usual ending of a lot of fan/webcomics, but I’m okay with that. I’m okay with saying “we had a good run” and letting it end. I’m going to still draw fallout 4 and whatever else I can, improving, all because I tried something new and did okay. maybe I’ll pick this up again! in the summer, or christmas break, or just whenever I feel I have time for a page. that could be a long time, short time, I don’t know.
