Exterior area of the "Dream Shrine."

In the topmost room of the rear tower shown here, there's a bed which will transport you into the dream-world if you sleep there (I've drawn this room and posted it here previously.)

The rest… is all but uninhabited, with Bunessa being its current caretaker and only known resident. This despite the fact that there are dozens of simple bedchambers, multiple kitchens and dining areas, a library or two, and more. In addition to the central building shown here, the overall complex also includes several smaller outlying buildings, mostly for storage. It kinda comes across as something like a monastery, a school, or maybe even a small isolated city?

What was this place originally?

Who lived there?

Why is it abandoned now... but still in such good condition, and without any signs of conflict, illness, or natural disaster?

These question will (probably) be left unanswered! Partly because I haven't come up with definite answers myself... but partly on purpose 😅

A bit of random goof from the lower half of a page of drawings I did around the end of last month (the upper half of the page was "Thunder Geezers"), which I went back and inked + colored today.

For some reason got the idea to draw a cucumber that was also sorta-kinda Luke Skywalker…

And then by the time I had the rest finished, I figured I might as well give him a "Veggietales cucumber" type face 😂

Random drawings from a hotel room notepad over the weekend. First, a whole page of Jimothy!

Various movements, scuttling along with a cardboard box disguise Solid Snake style, curled up sleeping (don't think I made this one quite round enough?), and of course rummaging around in le garbáge.

Next: some sort of weird little cloaked... wok guy? Wielding one wok (the kind with a longer wooden handle) as a weapon, and wearing a bigger one of the other type as a hat. Not entirely sure where this idea came from.

A page of random nonsense! Featuring a wizard mushroom, kitties, and some Froog.

And finally, another page of random nonsense! There's a nird (nerd+bird), a robot with literal "buns of steel," an OctoPie (which contains only a singular octopus), and... some very angry-looking toilet paper.

We've all heard the saying "there are two wolves inside you."

But actually, due to how heavily depleted wolf populations became before efforts were made to restore them in the past century, some people born since the 1600s or so had only one wolf inside them. Or none at all!

Or you could have a "Technically-a-Type-Of-Wolf"... like a chihuahua.

First new addition to the Wurm Collection in...

...a while.

Probably since Secrets of Strixhaven came out? That was the last newly printed Wurm, anyway, and I don't think I picked up any more older ones between then and now.

This one is a card that I've always known of but just never seen in the game store's inventory... until this week. With this and the couple copies of Roar of the Wurm I've picked up over the years, now I've got both of the original "spell that creates wurm token(s)" cards!

#can't DRIVE for a week #if it's a week that I don't need to drive my mom to doctor's appointments/cats to the vet/etc. then... sure that's doable #would need to stock up on refrigerated groceries + things that are only available at the store 10-12ish miles away beforehand #annoying if the weather is too hot though... because I'm not walking in that and just being locked inside at home for too long is not good
