Can you do a darnell x reader when they have a movie night together (p.s. this my first time asking for a story like this 😖)
❥ Author's Note: the requester wanted to change this into the newgrounds trio movie night!!!
ALSO IM SO SORRY IT TOOK THIS LONG IDK WHAT HAPPENED T□T and sorry this is short i finished this at skool
Movie nights with the three were the best, warm blankets for you to cuddle in, the large buckets of popcorn with just the smell of it making you all drool. It was perfect, it always was.
With the dimmed lights casting over your face, blankets wrapped around you frame as you sighed against the fluffy mattress. The scent of popcorn filled your nostrils are you suddenly sprung up, now face to face with Darnell as he set the bucket of popcorn down, before settling down next to you with a sigh.
Soon enough, Nene peeked over the couch, slurping on a drink as Pico held a pizza box in his hands. The other two sat next to you as well, Pico placing the pizza box down as Darnell looked for the remote. Reaching over the couch he sat back down, remote now in hand as he turn on the TV.
"..What are we watching again?" The boy mumbled, switching through movies to watch. Nene stopped drinking, pondering his question. "What about [movie name]? We haven't watched that before. And it's a horror movie"
"I've already watched that! Soooo boring aswell!" Nene whined, dropping into your legs as she sat on ontop of you, earning a chuckle from your lips.
Pico shrugs, turning away on his phone. "Who cares? Let's just watch it."
The familiar hue of the TV filled the room, the four of you huddled up into a pile as you watch yet another character meet a gruesome demise. Yet Darnell chuckled at the sight, causing you to frown.
"Your sick in the head, D.." You mumble, Darnell grinning as he faced you.
"But look at the way they fell down, it's so stupid!" He cackled, gesturing to the TV, and you had to admit, the way the characters flopped down once presumably dead was quite weird and unrealistic.
Nenewas frowning however, pointing her hand at the screen, waving her index finger about. "The blood is kinda un-realistic! Why is it so...red?"
Pico blinked, raising an eyebrow. Nene huffed.
"I mean it's more pinkish than actual blood, not thick and dark, you know?" Nene explained, but she was met with silence. "...Nevermind."
Darnell grabbed some popcorn again, slumping against you as the movie was reaching the end. He mumbled something inconsistent, resting his head on your shoulder.
Nene was full on asleep at this point as you and the gunman shared a look, Pico chuckling at the sight. He jumped over the couch, landing next to you and the other with a thud.
"You tired too?" You asked, stiffling a laugh and Pico nodded, smiling to himself.
By the time the movie had finished with such a grotesque ending, you, Nene, Darnell, and Pico had found such comfort and love in eachothers presence.
