Love this photo of Cornelia Parker's work ~ #explodedshed
Here is a close up image of some free machine work in dissoluble fabric i have just recently done for a project titled 'Body Support' it is in response to butterfly wings and how delicate they are.

I had never heard of this designer before but this collection is to die for.
I still a year on cant get over how beautiful this fabric i bought for my Final Major project was. I went off my monochrome brief with it but i just could not actually resist it and the final outcome i made with it was beautiful too.

This is another lovely tactile page from my Final Major Project sketchbook. the image is of a Fendi design printed in a Vogue magazine on foiled thick paper which in person looks beautiful. It was part of a four page spread.
Here is one of my little personal projects i like to do at home for my own wardrobe. I bought a dress from the Shelter charity shop in town for £7.I removed the zip which ran down the side of the top half and the bottom and separated the skirt from the top. I then re positioned the zip into the skirt, added a waistband and a button also for detail. i then to the opening on the top added buttons as fasteners.
These are some of the many design sheets i did for my Final Major Project collection, i wanted to explore as many different design options as i could to achieve the best final outcomes. I tried to use a few different mediums to create these designs too, including collage paper, pen and pencil.
From my beautiful Final Major Project sketchbook. I am still in love with it even a year on. I love my sketchbooks to be tactile and embellished with lace and vintage book pages to bring out my style through the pages.
An outfit from last christmas day. I love this simple tartan skirt as its really comfy and can be worn casually or dressed up. The fact that its from George at Asda is even better.

This is another one of my favourite techniques: Heat transfer dye onto fabric and then free machine detail on top to give a clear outline to the image printed.
Love these dungarees #dungarees #denim #vintage #secondhandrose
Here is my final garment from my first year on BTEC fashion. I was and continue to be quite proud of this tea dress as it was the first garment i felt like this as everything went well and it looked how i had imagined it at the design stadges.
This photo was from my first year fashion show at BTEC fashion. It was this first garment i made at this level and was responding to a brief called "all about me" hence the array of pink. I dont like this skirt anymore as to me now it looks amature but at the time i was quite proud of it as it contains plastic boning in each of the seam allowences in order for it to keep its shape.
A bikini i bourght two years ago, both from River Island. This was where my first inspiration and love for mesh paneling came from. The petrol style fabric is also amazing!

Medium: Water soluble pen, one of my favourite mediums to use.
