A Quick Word On James Deen
I won’t go into details here for those who may be triggered. Those who wish can certainly google the details.
I 100% believe Stoya. I 100% support Stoya. Because 10 years ago this Tuesday I was Stoya. A partner, who admittedly had shown signs of control and abuse before, went too far during a session. He continually engaged in kink play and sexual acts even after I used our safe word, even after I begged him to stop, even after I begun to cry, even after I started to bleed.
Stop means stop. No means no.
A safe word must always be acknowledged and respected. No matter when these words are uttered. Even if consent had been given before. If you’re engaging in any kind of play you need to establish and maintain consent. Period. If you cannot be bothered with the upfront discussion of consent, if you cannot control yourself and respect your partner’s need to slow down or stop all together, then you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. Any sex or kink act/play should be fun, enjoyable, and pleasurable for BOTH parties. If at any point it is not, no matter the reason, then STOP. Respect your partner, respect your connection, respect the pleasure that should be enjoyed between you.
No means no. Stop means stop.

Thank you for sharing this, Courtesan. I’m sorry you went through this same terrible situation, and that it keeps happening. Here’s hoping for a world where it doesn’t.
