marry the love of my life? check. i never thought i would get married or have (almost) two kids at eighteen. but god am i happy that my life ended up this way. this is happiness. this is heaven. mahal kita.

halloween birthday’s mean i can’t say no to carving pumpkins, even when all the pumpkin guts end up all over me and the apartment. i have the inability to say no to that angel face. but i can’t believe this is only my first birthday with you, munchkin. i wish i had been here for you and your mom from the beginning, but i know i have the rest of my life to make up for the time i missed. i thank the universe everyday for letting me find your amazing mama, and letting me be your dad. mahal kita, anak ko.

So… I may or may not just have spilt glitter all over the living room. I was sorting through some boxes with Halloween costume supplies and I… had a little accident with one that contained glitter shakers. The result? There’s glitter literally everywhere – not just all over the floor, but I’m also covered in it myself. It’s enough to be a costume on itself. If anyone has any tips on how to clean this mess, that would be very much appreciated. I’ve dealt with my fair share of glitter in my life, but I’ve never had to deal with a glitter explosion in my own house.

“I’ve already seen Hocus Pocus 6 times this month, that number is just going to keep going up. Sorry not sorry to the people around me who have to hear me quote it constantly.”

“i honestly had barely heard of the movie before this year, and my daughter pretty much forced me to sit down and watch it twice in a row. but - it was pretty good, so i can’t see how people would complain about it.”

team effort picking this outfit out today. i tried to put her in a dress, that was a strong no. somehow ended up with a full tracksuit and moms glasses. i also think i’m going to quit music and go into hair, i’m getting pretty good.

I regret making this soccer camp year round. If one more lad or lass kicks the ball at my face on purpose well… a random ball might just fly right back at them out of the sky.
