But the person who re-dubbed CLU’s voice (I admit he does a decent impression) kind of ruined the audio in the process. It’s rather muffled and hard to understand. There’s also another (publicly) available version of the original video (uploaded by someone else, too) before it was re-dubbed, with clearer audio.

Beck: I don’t want a beer.

Looks like Jared Leto still wants to be in TRON 3, and is hoping the critical success of Blade Runner 2049 guarantees he’ll be in it.

The thing is, if he’s a supporting character – like was originally planned – and not the lead, I’m fine with that. It was the rumor that Disney wanted to fast-track a new TRON film, continuity with the previous films be damned, and placing Leto as the lead, that had myself and many fans upset.

Reading between the lines, though, the most recent rumors suggest Disney abandoned the plan for that fast-tracked TRON movie, and Leto has gone back to being a supporting character (a villain program named Ares) rather than the lead.

Add the fact that Leto says he’s still hoping to be involved in a TRON 3, in this interview – rather than stating outright that he will be in it – hints my “reading between the lines” of the rumors is correct.

A few days ago, a fellow TRON RUN/r player let me know that there was a problem with the leaderboards in the game. None of them were working. No scores would load.

So I tried myself, and sure enough. None of them worked.

I decided to wait a few days and try again. Today, some of the leaderboards work. The Friend and Global leaderboards work in Disc, Cycle, and Outlands modes.

But not in Stream mode. Friend, Global, Duels … none of them work. The Weekly Challenge also does not work. (Then again, Weekly Challenge never worked for me on Steam, since the beginning. Someone playing on PS4 also said it never worked.)

Plus, the in-game Store is not working. Can’t buy bits with real money. Aw, darn. (sarcasm)

Is anyone else having trouble with the Leaderboards, Weekly Challenge, and in-game Store not working? On any version of the game? (Steam, PS4, XB1.)

The leaderboards for the other game modes (Disc, Cycle, Outlands) were still working the last time I checked. But this may not last, as all those leaderboards seem to rely on the same server that the Stream leaderboards do.

Alan-One, Tron: Uprising

I was reading through some Uprising fics on AO3, and there was one in particular about Alan in the Grid getting saved by Tron, which was pretty cool… but then I thought a bit more about the possibilities of it.  Alan wrote one of the best programs out there, so you’d think he’d make a pretty powerful User, right?  And a kickass User should have some cool threads… I mean Flynn’s clothing is unique, so why not Alan’s?
