my natal second house is in leo (17°) its ruler is my gemini sun in the 11th house and i have a leo saturn (20°) in it. one interpretation of this might be that my self worth or finances come from my connection towards others and my communication with others. this might be something i will learn life lessons thru, with saturn in a capricorn degree.

hi love. the second house shows you the cards that you've been dealt with in the material world and if you play your cards right, it unlocks material wealth. the cards we're dealt comes through our parents so our early childhood which is shaped by what our parents provided for us is seen through the second. we see the skills that we were born with, regardless of if these skills are nurtured or remain dormant—either way, these skills are avenues for material security because material security is our birthright. how you manifest things money can buy is seen through here. it's a material house so finances and self-worth are going to bleed into all 2nd house things, including what we value. another interpretation relates to the root chakra. we can look at the second house when we are looking to feel safe and secure in the material world, especially during these times where economic stability is a main concern. when it comes to natal vs solar return, the solar return 2H can show us what is physically materializing that year and what we are to prioritize for the year in order to expand our material wealth and make us feel more secure.
