There are storms that sink ships. And then there are people who slowly become one. Not all destruction arrives with thunder. Sometimes it comes dressed as an apology. "I didn't mean it." "It won't happen again." "It was just a mistake." Words, repeated so often, they begin to sound like waves against a broken hull. At first, you believe you can repair it. You patch another crack. Bail out more water. Tell yourself that if you just love harder, stay longer, or forgive one more time... the ship will sail again. But there comes a moment when wisdom whispers what hope refuses to hear. Some ships are no longer sinking because of the storm. They are sinking because they have forgotten how to stay afloat. And if you remain aboard, trying to save what no longer wishes to be saved... the ocean will not ask whose fault it was. It will simply pull you under too. Leaving is not always giving up. Sometimes... it is the first act of choosing your own life over someone else's chaos. Not every ship is yours to repair. And not every goodbye is a failure. Some are simply the shoreline where survival begins.🆘🖤
