Beauty of Nature

Captured this lightning some years ago and thought I had to share it. Nature can be so dramatic.

These strange looking spiders built their webs on some sort of agave. Some were totally covered in webs which could be found all over the island of Madeira.

Here are some pictures of the astonishing landscapes in Madeira. There are multiple mesoclimates on the island which causes the landscapes to look rather different from each other.

These are some pictures from a whale watching trip around Madeira, Portugal. (We saw dolphins instead of whales ;) )

Some pictures from our diving trip on the south coast of Madeira in Portugal: Part III (The bottom one is a huge stingray we found near a hundred year old wreck. The stingray is about 2-3 m long. If I had to guess I’d say it’s a roughtail stingray. In the top right you can see a little octopus which hid in a crack of another wreck. The top left is a sleeping grouper.)
