“Hey! Over here, Y/N.” Ilaria, smiled widely as she waved you over. You couldn’t help but mirror her smile as you walked towards her. ‘She seems to be in a good mood’, you thought.

“Hi! Sorry, if I’m late. You and Chris weren’t exactly as forthcoming with sharing the address until the last minute might I add and the Uber guy didn’t know right from left apparently.” You threw Ilaria a playful glare as you glanced around trying to spot Chris.

“Ohh, well I have a feeling that you’ll be in a forgiving mood once you see this.” Ilaria grinned at you, she hooked her arm with yours dragging you along with her. You blindly followed her in the search of Chris.

“Look.” She pointed to Chris who was taking what looked like pointers from the photographer before being asked to sit down on a lawn chair. Your mouth dropped the second you saw him. The open button up shirt, his fine ass tattoos that were so generously on display… ‘Be still my vagina.’ You had to do a double-take as you took in the sight in front of you.

“Sweetie, you’re crushing my arm.” You hadn’t noticed your death-grip on Ilaria’s arm, you muttered a quiet apology before turning your focus back on the handsome stud on the chair.

“Ilaria, have I mentioned how much you’ve done for my sex life specifically this last year… My god. He’s just-” You bit back an inappropriate moan and tried clearing your head of all the sinful and filthy thoughts you were having about your man right across from you.

Ilaria only smirked at your lip-biting and horny gazing. She knew exactly what she was doing. So did Chris. He worked the camera so well. He always did. “Glad to know I’m doing a good job.”

You let out a breathy sound and with your fingers did ‘the cross’ as one would entering a church. “Believe me, you’ve always done an incredible job.” The words and your gesture made you both giggle as you watched Chris.

“Hey, what’s the photo shoot for exactly?” Ilaria’s smile went wide again as she tugged you along with her. She halted by a small table where two people were sitting, one looking at the photos that were being taken on a laptop and the other looking at a video. She seemed like she was in the middle of editing it. You saw raw footage of Chris in one of his many- many cable knits. Curiously you leaned closer as the sound of his voice caught your attention.

“Hi, I’m Chris Evans and you’re at PEOPLE’s Sexist Man Alive photo shoot ... And apparently it’s me… According to my mom.”

You couldn’t help yourself as you let out a squeal and turned to Ilaria who seemed equally happy and giggly as you were.

“OH MY GOD! How long have you known about this? Omg, they voted him the sexist man alive! About damn time if you ask me but I’m biased as fuck! OMG.” Ilaria matched your enthusiasm and hugged you as you continued squealing for just two more seconds feeling happy for Chris.

“I didn’t know until just recently. He was going to be in Atlanta for filming anyway and then the rest sort of just fell into place.”

“OH, this is why all the secrecy. Damn, that guy’s not just pretty on the eyes, he’s a damn good actor.”

Ilaria laughed at your remark and the two of you lifted your head as you heard someone shouting.

“I need to change lens. Break for 5 minutes, eh? Chris, you can just sit back and relax for a bit.”

“Sure.” Chris glanced around and quickly spotted you next to Ilaria. His smile spread from ear to ear. You practically ran to him still aware of what may or may not be lurking in the grass.

“Hi!” You instantly took notice of his cute-as-fuck dimples and the way his eyes sparked.

“Hiiii, omg. Look at you.” You barely let Chris up from the chair before you plopped down on it next to him. Your hands went to each side of his face. You watched how his blush spread as your hands pulled you closer. You wasted no time and pulled him to you, pressing your lips to his soft ones. Chris hummed against you and wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you to a bit closer. You deepened the kiss wanting more having been apart from his since – well last night- which was excruciating and especially now having seen him in his goddam hot as hell outfit styled by Ilaria. All of those sinful and filthy thoughts you were having earlier just came rushing back as you sat right down in front of him. Chris reciprocated the kiss eagerly and sighed in content. After what seemed like forever, you pulled back from the kiss all breathless and weak in the knees, honestly. You traced a finger along his latest tattoo that wasn’t entirely visible in this outfit.

“So, what do you think?” Chris leaned back on the chair as he looked at you.

“Sexiest man alive… Babe, I could’ve told you that.” You rested a hand on top of his thigh and smiled. Chris chuckled a bit and nodded his head at you.

“You’re not mad that I didn’t tell you?” You could tell he was a bit nervous about that as he shifted in his seat and looked all flushed once again.

“No, of course not. As long as this is the kind of things you withhold from me, I’m cool.” You reached over and pressed a chaste kiss onto his lips before pulling back. Chris pecked your cheek before you moved to get off the chair.

Ilaria came over with two hangers with clothes on and a new pair of shoes.

“The next shot will be wearing this. Here.” She handed off the clothes and shoes to Chris who took it before disappearing to change.

“How long have you been here? I’m a bit sad if I missed the whole thing.” You and Ilaria walked back a bit and watched as the photographer set up his camera and everything else needed.

“Don’t worry, there’s probably still a lot left to be done. He finished the interview clip firstly and then we moved onto the one you just saw. He’s got at least 3-5 more outfits left.”

“Thank God.” You shared a laugh as you waited for Chris. Once again, you were breathless as you watched Chris walking over. You turned a bit to Ilaria who looked smugger than ever. You couldn’t quite decide which outfit you liked the best. This one was basically a plain white t-shirt and trousers but the other one flashed his chest and his chest hair which you of course loved. However the second outfit did something to you. You clenched your thighs as you watched Chris flex his bicep as he posed.

“God, you’re evil… and fucking good. I’ve never loved you more than right now. Second to his outfit for The Gray Man premiere.” You gave Ilaria a side hug before she went over to adjust his shirt and tussled up his hair a bit.

‘Jesus F…Christ.’ Chris threw a playful smile your way before quickly turning his focus back onto the photographer.

Ilaria had done an outstanding job with the photo shoot for sure. Every single outfit was just perfect. She nailed it. Completely. You could tell how much Chris loved it too. It was a great idea all together. Everything fit so well.

“I’m starting to think maybe it was a bad idea inviting me here.” Chris looked at you questionably not following you.

“What do you mean? This because I didn’t tell you about it the moment I knew cos-”

“That’s not why.”

“Then what?-”

You placed a finger on his lips silencing him. You stood on your tiptoes as you whispered into his ear.

“Because all I can think about right now is you taking off all of my clothes and then having you fuck me on every square inch of this property.” You placed a kiss on his neck before resting on your feet again. You smirked when you saw his Adams apple bob once or twice at your words. Your tongue darted out wetting your lips as Chris glanced around him.

“Oh…” You looked up at him all doe-eyed and innocently despite having the loveliest and filthiest mouth he’s ever known.

“Hmm…” Batting your eyelashes at him sweetly as you ran your hands up and down his arms enjoying the hardness underneath.

“Are you purposely trying to get me hard during a photo shoot, that’s just… mean.” Chris groaned at your delicate touch secretly hoping for more.

“Not like that has stopped you before. Don’t you remember the last two photo shoots you brought me to? How we sneaked off into your trailer and you literally railed me like there was no tomorrow…”

Chris closed his eyes reminiscing about those memories and so did you briefly. You cast a glance downward and saw how he was already pitching a half hard-on. It made your mouth water just the sight.

“Honey…” You could hear him struggle which made you feel giddy and horny all at once.

“Yes dear. You smiled coyly at him suppressing a giggle at his demeanor.

You clenched your thighs at the low growl he released at your teasing manner.

“Now, before we both get all hot and bothered… why don’t you go and change into whatever masterpiece Ilaria has put together and I’ll stay here trying not to act like a complete bitch in heat while you look … so good. So fucking good.”

Chris’ eyes darkened at your words and without saying further he leaned down to kiss you. You kissed him back and moved your hands cautiously so they rested on his forearms that were wrapped around you. As he reluctantly pulled away from you, you didn’t miss the low groan as your hand accidently grazed his bugle. You had to bite back a moan as well as you watched his intense gaze on you.

“You’re dangerous…And evil, sweetheart.” He pecked you on the lips again before stepping away from you.

“No no, you and Ilaria are the evil ones. I’m just an innocent, soaking horny consumer of the PEOPLE’.” Chris smirked briefly and grasped your chin in his large hand before placing one final kiss on your lips.

“Chris, we’re ready for you.” You pouted and made a face as Chris started to walk away from you.

“Love you.”

“You too.”  

Yes, both Ilaria and Chris were in fact super evil. ‘Okay, so were the photographer because of his visions’ but really him on a bike, sitting in the goddamn HAY, like what the actual hell?’ It all looked really well and just amazing obviously.

You couldn’t wait to get back home to the hotel. Quite frankly, you were certain you’d ruined the panties you were wearing. You didn’t just feel like a bitch in heat anymore, no ‘you were a bitch in heat’ for that man. You wanted him to dick you down good. No, you wanted him to pound you like a drum. There literally wasn’t a thing you wouldn’t let this man do to you by now. You were his completely. Like he was yours. You would take anything and everything he gave you.

You clenched your thighs at the thought of Chris and you fucking like animals just the night before. You were so lost in your own thoughts you hadn’t noticed Ilaria approaching you.

“I think we’re done for the day.” You took a deep breath and looked around for Chris. ‘So, am I.’, you smiled at her.

“Hmm, good. Anymore and it will go straight to his head.” You said lovingly but jokingly. Chris suddenly appeared next to you and wrapped an around your shoulder.

“Are we ready to go back?” You nodded your head quite eagerly wanting desperately to get out of here.

“Actually, I’m getting a ride with Mimi. So, you to go on. Chris, I’ll text you.” You watched the two embrace as they said bye and Ilaria then turned to you and brought you in for a hug which you gladly returned.

“You can thank me next time we see each other.” You couldn’t help yourself snicker at Ilaria’s hushed comment as she pulled back from the hug.

“What?” you shook your head at him and grabbed Chris’ hand pulling him along.

“Nothing worth worrying the sexiest man alive of 2022.” You reached up and placed a kiss on his cheek making him laugh. The two of you began walking towards Chris’ car. The rest of the crew from the shoot, had already packed up and was almost cleared out. As you finally approached the car, you watched the last of the ‘crew’ drive off. Chris unlocked the car and opened the door for you as he waited patiently for you to get in like a true gentleman. Instead you took a step back and opened the door to the backseat.

“You wanna sit in the back?” Chris looked at you rather questionably and then saw how your lips quipped upwards into a smile.

“Hmmm no, I wanna sit on your face is what I want. I want you to fuck me right here and right now. I’ve been waiting all day.”

Chris’ eyes darkened a bit once again and he closed the door to the passenger’s seat before towering over you.

“That’s what you want?”

“Yes.”

“You asked for it.” You felt a shiver run down your back as you were pulled into the backseat. It was safe to say that there were loads to catch up on. Chris’ car didn’t leave the set for at least 45 minutes. This was a celebration of his much deserved and ever true new title… The Sexiest Man alive.

“That’s what you get for using that language, young lady.” 

You sent pops a glare and you rubbed your sore bottom as you looked up trying to find the culprit of your fall only to be licked right in the face. 

“Dodger! Here. -”

“Well hello.” You said as you gently pushed the dog a bit back. A friendly one it seemed. The dog continued being friendly towards you as you sat on the cold ground. You barely registered the man who fled towards you. 

“Oh my, I’m so sorry! The leash broke and he ran...and unfortunately ran you down.” 

You gave a small smile towards the outstretched hand and offered yours before you were helped up from the ground. 

“Did you hurt yourself?” 

You brushed off the dirt from the back of your coat before turning to look at the very cute dog’s owner. 

“I’m fi-” 

You were speechless. He was actually just as cute as the dog who had run you down. ‘My god- where did you come from’, ‘stop yourself, before you wreck yourself’.

“Miss?”

Your pops gently jabbed you in the side with his elbow breaking you out of your trance. 

“She’s fine! No need to worry. She isn’t too sturdy on her feet anyway.” 

“Thanks…Pop.” 

The guy smiled at you before reaching down and tying the broken leash to the dog’s collar. 

“Well, so sorry again.” 

“No worries.” 

He gave you both a polite smile and wave before walking off. You caught yourself staring at the guy for far too long. Once again you felt an elbow nudge you. 

“Didn’t you say something about there being no men around here?” 

“Oh, stop it. He’s probably already married or is in a relationship with some gorgeous leggy, thin blonde or something.” 

“Psss, I hardly think so. That young man couldn’t keep his eyes of you.” 

“I think we need to get you some new glasses.”

“Or you need glasses.”

You shook your head at pops’ antics and hooked your arm with his as you walked towards the pond.

“Besides no leggy blonde could ever outshine you.” Pops patted the back of your hand and you smiled to yourself thanking God that this man was your grandfather. As you continued on your stroll, you couldn’t help but think of the incident. The dog, the cute owner and those blue eyes. 

You had gone for a walk the following day with Pops who deemed it necessary to go out once again. Needing a break from the TV and couch. You gladly went with him. You did in fact enjoy your walks together. You took a different route that day but you didn’t mind the change of scenery. The trail was much more secluded than your normal route. As you walked and talked about everything and nothing with pops, you heard the sound of whistling. Curiously you walked a bit ahead. A bit further down the trail, was the guy from yesterday and his dog. You couldn’t help but linger as you watched them play around.

“Something caught your eye, kiddo?”

You clutched your chest not having heard your grandfather sneaking up beside you.

“Geez… If you do that to grandma her pacer with crap out.” You jokingly said and tried to advert your attention.

“That looks an awful lot like that young man from yesterday… Hmm, a coincidence? Or fate?”

You rolled your eyes at him.

“Go and say hello.”

“What? Why?”

“I’m no Einstein but I can tell you’re interested.”

“Stop it, like I said…He’s probably already taken and no-It’s just not no…-“

“C’mon honey, what’s the worst thing that could happen?”

“He could hear me? Let’s just go back, please.”

“I’ll help, I can go and slip in a good word about you-“

“You do that and I’ll tell grandma you hate her banana bread.”

Your grandfather narrowed his eyes at you but turned around.

“You win but I’m telling you- there may be something-“

“Yeah yeah.”

Some days later, there was a street food fair. You had gone with your family. You and pops split from your parents and grandmother. Not that it was any surprise to any of them. 

“Hmm, I shall want to try one of those Bao buns things.” You went to the specific booth and ordered one bun for you each. After paying and getting the food, you turned around ready to hand off the bun to pop.

“Here you go, one bao - Pops...” 

He was gone...Oh my good God. You’d lost your old grandfather at a street food fair. 

You walked around for a few minutes feeling all sorts of panicky. You pondered calling the rest of the family but the sound of barking broke you out of your thoughts. There he was, your pops. 

You finally spotted him talking with the guy from the park and his dog. They were standing a bit further away from the booths by a bench. You almost ran over to them.

“There she is! Thought I’d lost you for a second.” Pop only smiled at you not noticing your disbelief. 

“You thought you’d lost me? God- I looked everywhere for you and-” 

“Well here I am- Now where’s food?” You were flabbergasted. 

“I-I-I dumped it. I thought you’d gone missing or hurt yourself.” You ran a hand through your hair as you explained. 

“That’s a shame...ohh - Oh well, that looks pretty good.” Pops pointed to some guy who chewed on some chicken skewers. 

“Just stay here, and I’ll get you some.” Your pops had other plans. 

“Nonseness, it’s my treat. You stay here and I’ll go.” 

“But-” 

“Christopher, would you mind keeping an eye on my granddaughter? Apparently she gets lost easily right now.” 

The guy from the park, the cute guy or actually Christopher, smiled and nodded his head at your pops. You let out a small sigh as you watched your grandfather retreating back to the food booths. 

“He seems really great.” You had almost forgotten that you weren’t alone. You turned your head facing the guy, Christopher. 

“Yeah, he is... I hope he didn’t bother you or anything. He doesn’t really have the greatest filter.” 

“No, no not at all. He was great.”

“Thank God, not that he’s mad or anything. He’s harmless and nice. It’s just strangers aren’t strangers to him and he’ll talk with anyone he deems nice and- I’m rambling. I’m sorry now you must think I’m the mad one...” 

Your odd rambling apparently made Christopher laugh slightly. You couldn’t help but join him. 

“No, you’re fine. Don’t worry.” You shared a smile and even though the laughter died down there was a comfortable silence. 

You felt something wet touch your fingers and you looked down. The dog who had trampled you down sat by your feet looking up at you. You crouched down a bit before making eye contact with Christopher to ask permission. He only nodded his head. You stroked the soft fur before rubbing the dog behind its ears. The dog was just as friendly as the last time you’d seen it. Your eyes spotted the nametag, Dodger. 

“Hi Dodger. Is this your formal apology for running me down?” Dodger then offered you his paw making both you and Christopher laugh. 

“I take that as a yes, consider yourself forgiven. God, who could ever get mad at that face.” You stroked Dodger’s back a few times more before standing up. 

“He and I are both very sorry for the running you down.” 

“You’re fine. No harm done.”

He sent you a soft smile before you were both interrupted by a voice coming from behind you.

“This is almost painful to watch. Ask for his phone number...Or his Instagram, Tweeting, Tik Tok or whatever you kids use these days.” 

Your jaw dropped as your pops stood beside you grinning from ear to ear. Both you and Christopher were too stunned to speak. You watched how he blushed and you were ready to die from humiliation. ‘Now he must really think I’m a nutter.’

“Listen, my granddaughter thinks you’re good looking...And I think-”

“Pops!”

He only shrugged at you as if the whole situation was completely normal. Like he wasn’t pimping you out to a complete stranger whose name you’d only just learned. 

“Well, anyone with eyes can see there’s an attraction here. Eeh?” 

“Please stop talking, pop.” You looked down at the ground where Dodger had laid down right between you and Christopher.

“Now, I see your grandmother coming this way...I’ll join them and then you kids can get talking.” Pop then squeezed your hand encouragingly and trotted off once again. You could hear him snickering as he walked away. 

The silence the fell between you felt less than comfortable. You were too scared to look up. Dodger raised his head looking up at you and back to his owner. 

“Well-”

“That was the most horrifying thing I’ve ever -...I’m sorry, you got dragged into whatever that was.” You raised your head and found him looking at you. He didn’t seem all that bothered by your grandfather’s unorthodox ways of helping you flirt. 

“I’m liking that man more and more.” 

“That makes one of us.” You shared a brief laugh. 

“I’m gonna go while I still have some remaining dignity left.” You offered a polite smile and went to turn on your feet but a hand stopped you. 

“Or you could stay? Join me for a walk?” 

You were certain you head wrong. ‘There’s no waaaay’, you thought.

“You want to- You want me to join?” 

He sheepishly smiled a bit and tugged a bit on the leash making Dodger stand up.

“Yeah... Or you could just give me your Instagram, uhh Tweeting which I assume is Twitter or Tik Tok, which I really hope you don’t use cos that just makes me feel old and yeah.” 

“Please, don’t- You don’t have to do this out of pity because I have some nutty grandfather.” 

“You’ll find no pity here... I was hoping to run into you again and then I met your grandfather who’s kind of awesome by the way and then I was lucky enough to run into you again... So, I’m asking cos I want to.” There it was. That dashing smile. You returned the smile as you fiddled with your hands. 

“Even though I got a weird grandfather who tries manage my dating life?” 

“I’d say he’s a bonus.” 

You let out a small chuckle as you quickly made up your mind. 

“So how about that walk?” 

“I’d love to.” 

He then gestured for you to join him and you both began walking towards the park.

“I should probably introduce myself.” 

“I already know your name. Christopher.” Pops had called him that. 

“Well yes and no... My full name is Christopher but I go by Chris.” You watched as he stopped walking and extended his hand towards you. You smiled as you shook his hand before telling him your name. 

“I like it.” He flashed you a smile that showed his dimples. You felt like a schoolgirl as you fought giggling. 

“I like yours too.” Chris. It was a very nice name. 

Unbeknownst, your pops and grandmother watched the two of you walking off. Two strangers who suddenly didn’t look like two strangers.  Pops could hear your laughter from where he stood and watched. Your grandmother squeezed his hand. 

”You’re such a hopeless romantic.”

“She deserves everything life has to offer…Besides I have a good feeling about this one.”

Chris stood up clearing his throat as the talk quieted down.

”I would like to make a special toast to someone. Someone who means the world to my beautiful bride. He meant almost everything to her. They had the most beautiful relationship I have ever seen. There was this communication between them that I never quite understood and I don’t think I was ever meant to. I could see what everyone else saw. Unconditional love.

Now I only knew him for 4 years but he made me feel like I’d know him my whole life and the whole time, I saw and felt only love.

I proposed after having asked for your father’s blessing but also having gotten your grandfather’s blessing. I couldn’t have done this without his blessing too. Your pops told me, ‘Son, you had my blessing after a month. I’ve never seen my granddaughter so happy, that’s all that matters to me. So, you just take care of her… I won’t be here to do it forever, so you must be there when the time comes.’”

Chris reached down and caressed your cheek as you stared up at him lovingly with teary eyes.

“I can only hope to live up to a man as great as him. And to hopefully one day be as great as he was.

So Pops…I’m forever thankful for you and grateful for how you brought us together. You brought me the love of my life.”

“Sounds easy.” You pretended to crack your neck like you were about to thrown down.

“It’s going down. Look at her, she’s getting warmed up.” Chris let out a booming laugh as you did some stretches. Chris then did some of his own stretching making the ladies in the audience cheer.

“Don’t do that. He doesn’t need the encouragement. I wanna win this. I need some cheering.”

“Okay, children please. Are we ready?”

“Born ready.” Chris hid his smile as he looked down at the red button while you stood ready at your own button.

“This is just a test run. Y/N, name 3 things you hate. "

"Uhm olives, - God...butter and milk"

You hit the button grinning at the time stamp ‘0.0′

''That was so fast! Like why not 10 second rule or something?”

“Because it’s not. This is my game, live with it…- You just have to be faster.”

“I don’t like this.” Chris chuckled under his breath hearing your response.

"Chris, name 3 things you hate."

"Violence/war, animal cruelty, poverty."

Chris hit his button by ‘2.9′ seconds. You let out a small scoff and pouted.

"Now, I feel stupid - you say some deep stuff and I just go olives! Like I'd like to know what are we going for.. You know - Is it the deep stuff or the shallow stuff like ... olives."

Chris laughed out loud grabbing his left bicep making you smile in the process.  The audience laughed.

"Y/N, name 3 things Chris can't live without. "

"His family, Dodger Uhh... and..."

You shared a smile with Chris who stood on the other side of the table. The time ran out and you looked at him before answering.

"Meeee?"

You smiled sheepishly at him as his ears grew a bit red making your smile even bigger.

Ellen, shook her head but still couldn’t stop the smile forming on her lips.

"Cute."

The audience cheered and clapped.

"Name 3 things that Y/N can live without?"

"Olives, butter and milk."

He hit the button on the 3.5 time mark and did a fistpump as the audience cheered.

"That was too easy! But seriously, I'd also like to be without violence, any cruelty."

Chris grinned before pointing at you.

"Now that's real cute."

“Name Chris’ 3 favorite colors.”

“Blue, red and...shi- what’s the last one...something plaid?” Time ran out as you hit the button.

“Pretty sure plaid isn’t a color to be exact.”

“Shut it.”

“Chris, name Y/N’s 3 favorite colors.”

“Blue, red and black… Boom.” Chris hit his button, ‘4.0′.

“This is so unfair. I mean, Chris is like a sponge when it comes to knowing stuff about you. I’m like one of those thingy’s you use when you strain the water from the spaghetti.” Chris chuckled at your remark but nodded his head silently agreeing with you.

“This one’s easy. Y/N, name 3 of Chris’ movies.”

“Oh my God, uhmm- Gifted, Knives Out, Defending Jacob-No, crap that’s a series-” Time buzzing went off. You pouted sadly at the screen behind Ellen.

“You’re not really that good at this.” Ellen stared at you in disbelief before cracking a smile.

“Why didn’t you mention any of the Marvel movies you did together? Or ‘Hell Hunting?’”

You scowled before picking at your nails as you looked down wanting to avoid the looks from Chris and Ellen. You were a sore loser no doubt which Chris very well knew about you.

“This is hard, okay! I don’t do well under pressure! - I want 10 seconds.”

“You honestly think you’d get it done if I gave you 5 seconds more?”

“Yes.” You answered with much confidence.

“OKay, let’s put 5 more seconds on the clock for Y/N. Are you ready? - Okay, name 3 things Chris never leaves home without.”

“OH oh i know this fo sho, a baseball cap Patriots cap obvi... - his phone... uhm, his wallet.” You slammed your hand down on the button, ‘0.1′. You literally did a victory dance making the audience laugh as well as Chris and Ellen. Ellen shook her head, hiding her face behind her cards.

“I thought that was pretty good! Right?” You gestured to Chris who hid his grin behind his hand while trying to keep a straight face.

“You’re doing amazing.” You kissed your teeth seeing his face and fought the urge to flip him off. You flipped your hair back before getting back into position.

“I’m winning this thing.”

“It’s almost sad that you believe that but I like your enthusiasm.” Ellen reached over and patted the back of your hand.

“Chris, name 3 terms for lovemaking.” You almost cried from laughing at his red face.

“Screwing, banging..Can I say fuuuc- You kno.”

Chris, face all flustered, slammed his hand down on the button. ‘1.0′ You covered your face as you tried to keep from laughing. ‘God you were so close to peeing yourself from laughing.’  He awkwardly scratched his beard and looked down on the table when you shot him a look from across the table.

“Y/N, name 3 terms for lovemaking.”

“Ohhh okay, doing it..Hitting it hard? Fornicating?” You hit the button right on ‘0.1′, “Oh, this is horrible. My grandmother is here today.”

You all turned and waved to your sweet grandmother who sat in the audience.

“Chris, did you know her grandma was going to be here today?”

“I did.”

“Do you regret the terms you said?”

“Oh yes very much so.”  Chris closed his eyes before making a pained expression.

The audience clapped and laughed once again and Ellen switched her cards.

“Chris, name 3 things Y/N’s scared of.”

“Huge spiders, sometimes the dark and people with bad intentions.” Even saying all of that, that a-hole still managed to hit his button before time ran out. ‘2.0′ it read. You raised your eyebrows at the SOB letting out a small scoff.

“Okay, now it’s personal. Ellen, ask me something, hit me.”

“Name 3 things Chris dislikes.”

“WHAT! - You asked him about my fears. This game is so rigged.” Ellen made your head spin so fast and you legit let out a shriek.

“Tick tock.”

“Okay, he dislikes girly drinks because he’s a beer guy unlike me who hates beer… Uh, dishonest people and deception.” You hit the button on ‘0.9′. “Oh yeah, I got deep too.”

Chris grinned at your attempt to look intimidating.

“On a more cheerful note, Chris, name 3 things, Y/N always has in her fridge.”

“Cabbage, strawberry flavored lemonade and beer.” He hit the button on ‘3.9′

“Y/N, name 3 things Chris has in his fridge.”

“Beer, milk and butter.” You hit your button, ‘2.5′ “Yes, please. Ohh, I’m coming for you.” Chris raised his hands showing ‘surender’.

“Final question!”

“NO! I was just getting good at this game.” You pouted once again and almost just almost stomped your feet on the ground like a scolded child.

"Okay, final question. Name 3 things you like about Chris." You made eye contact with Chris whose lips quirked upwards.

"His laughter, eyes... His arms ?"

You shrugged a bit before hitting the button right before the time ran out.

"His arms?"

"Yeah, have you not hugged him? He gives the greatest hugs?"

The audience seemed to agree. Chris chuckled on the other side of the table.

"I'm winning this game." you pointed to the screen behind Ellen.

Ellen laughed at your remark.

"Ehh not really but if you say so. Okay, Chris - name 3 things about Y/N you like."

"Oh God... Uhm just her being, smile... Dammit, uh lips?"

You tilted your head looking at Chris who seemed unfazed by what he had just said on national television.

Ellen however was quick to catch what was said.

"Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember a kissing scene in ‘Hell Hunting’ nor a kiss scene between Steve Rogers and Y/C/N... Hmmm. Curious."

She was grinning widely at the two of you standing still on opposite sides of the table.

“Curious indeed.”

“Y/N, name the last 3 people you’ve kissed over the last 3 months.”

“You just made that up.”

“Maybe.”

“If I say it, will you let me win?”

“Yeah.”

“Hmm...Him, him and him.”

The audience erupted in loud cheers and clapping. ‘It was finally happening!’

Chris’ hand reached over the table finding yours. You couldn’t stop smiling as his large hand grasped yours tightly. Suddenly you were swept from your position and pulled in front of the table where you collided with Chris’ towering body.

Chris leaned down and pressed his lips to yours. Your arms went around his neck like they had done for years now. You smiled into the kiss when you felt him lifting you off your feet before twirling you around twice.

So the minute, he got back home. To you and to Dodger. It felt like heaven knowing he would have not a few weeks but actually 2 months to relax and rewind before getting back to work.

The first day home, was basically spent in bed. 'No, you weren't going at it like bunnies…Well not the whole time...' no. Chris slept almost 10-12 hours after you welcomed him home with open arms... and legs. You knew how tired he was after doing the press tour. You understood the toll it took on him being ‘on the road’ as he called it. You could tell how tired he was getting as the press tour came to a finish. He tried fighting the tiredness on camera as he did countless interviews and such, but you could always tell when watching him. So, of course you let him sleep for as long as he needed to. Your man deserved and needed the rest.

You laid in bed for a while just gazing at him. Watching how his chest rose up and down as he breathed steadily. You couldn’t help yourself staring at him. You reached out caressing his cheek before running a finger along his jaw down to his neck. You mindlessly traced one of his freckles. You leaned over and pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth as you sat up in bed. He snored peacefully as you crawled out of bed.

You went about your day. Took a shower, walked Dodger, ate breakfast, went to work and came home early.

You peaked inside the bedroom, where Chris was still heavily sleeping. He'd only shifted a bit in the large bed cradling your pillow.

You walked Dodger again and started to do your chores. Afterwards, you watched a bit of ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix with Dodger. He rested his head on your lap as you watched the series.

Later that day, you heard movement from the bedroom. Dodger's ears perked up but he stayed by your side.

About 15 minutes later, Chris emerged from the hallway, freshly showered. He walked towards the couch where his two favorite people were seated.

"Hi." Chris leaned down pressing a kiss to your lips as he stood behind the couch.

"Good Morning."

He let out a small chuckle as he caressed your cheek. "Rather, good evening... Damn, I slept."

You squeezed his hand.

"You probably needed it." Chris leaned down once again and kissed your cheek, jaw and lastly your lips. You smiled into the kiss as his large hand cradled your face.

"Did you eat?" Chris pecked both of your cheeks before turning his focus on Dodger who patiently waited for his turn.

"Mhmm, I tried to wait but we got too hungry. But I already have your plate ready to go."

You rose from the couch and walked into the kitchen where you reheated Chris' food. You sat on the counter nursing a cup of tea while Chris ate his food on the kitchen island. There was a mix of conversation and comfortable silence. Chris spoke about the press tour and asked about how work was, how Dodger was while he had been away.

Afterwards, Chris put dishes away while you cleaned up. You started the dishwasher but was startled when two large arms wrapped around your waist hugging you close.

"That was delicious. Thank you."

You turned your head placing a kiss on bearded cheek.

"Any time."

He let out a small sigh as you kissed him. Your free hand caressed his cheek lovingly a few times.

You moved back into the living room. Chris followed you wordlessly. Chris sat down on the couch awaiting your move.

The sound of Dodger's paws against the floorboards turned his head. The pup pranced over towards his two humans with his leash in his mouth. You couldn't help but laugh at the sight in front of you.

"Hmm I guess someone wants to go for a walk?"

Dodger wiggled his tail enthusiastically and let out a bark as if saying yes.

"I can take him if you want to relax or go to bed again?"

The yawn Chris tried to suppress, fought its way out.

"Would you? I know you've already done so much -"

"It's no problem. Chris, go do your thing."

You watched him peel himself off the couch again as he slowly made his way over to you. He towered over you.

You reached up on your tiptoes and kissed his soft lips. He let out a small 'hum' and offered you an appreciative smile as he pulled back from the kiss. He stared lovingly yet tired at your form as you left the room with Dodger.

You got back from your walk, Dodger ran inside the house the second you unleashed him. You took off your shoes and jacket before walking inside as well. You didn't see Chris in the living room so you figured he went back to bed. You didn't feel tired yet so you decided to watch some more ‘Stranger Things’. You made yourself a cup of tea, grabbed a few snacks (cos why not) and situated yourself on the couch bundled up in a fuzzy blanket.

Sometime during the episode, you became aware of someone's presence. You barely had time to say anything when suddenly Chris plopped down on the couch. His head resting on your lap.

"Well hi there."

“Mphm” Was all you heard.

You saw his eyes squint at the light coming from the flat-screen and watched him roll over so that his face was pressed against your belly. You shuffled a bit so that his head rested on the make-believe pillow of the fuzzy blankets. You ended up turning in your seat, so Chris could lie between your spread legs. One knee rested against the couch while the other dangled off the couch to accommodate Chris' body. His hands went around your lower body holding onto it as if you could disappear at any moment.

Dodger must've felt left out as the dog jumped up on the couch wiggling his way down to lie between Chris and the couch. It seemed pretty crammed but nevertheless Dodger stayed there. His head resting on Chris' waist.

You ran your hand through his hair for a while. Your hand played with the small hair at his neck before drawing circles on the bare skin by the neckline of his shirt.

Sometime later, you became aware of his slow breathing. He had fallen asleep. He slept so peaceful despite half of his face being squashed in the various blankets. You reached down and ran your fingertips along the side of his face, his forehead and down to his jawline. You heard the sound of snoring further down on the couch. Dodger had at some point rolled into his back despite the small space. He was literally a sandwich between the couch and Chris' body.

You couldn't help yourself when you reached out to grab your phone off the coffee table and snapping a picture of your guys.

Two hours later, Chris woke up. He woke up feeling your hands run up and down his back. He shifted a big sensing the blanket that now covered his body. 'There was no blanket on me when I fell asleep… She must’ve-'

Chris craned his neck to look up at you. You sat like before. He then moved to grab the hand that massaged him and pressed a few kisses onto your soft skin. Your eyes immediately found his.

"Hi."

"Hi. How long was I out?"

"A little over two hours."

Chris didn't miss how you craned your neck to the side probably at the discomfort of sitting like this for hours.

"Mhmm, you should've woken me. I've been squishing you for hours."

You let out a soft laugh and threw your leg over his waist.

"I like feeling squished by you."

He couldn't stop the gentle eye roll at you antics. You only giggled at his eye roll.

"True as that might be… you seem uncomfortable."

"That's nonsense. I'm fine right here. More importantly is how you’re doing… You slept so peacefully and looked so content. You think I'd wake you up for that?"

Chris already knew the answer to that. ‘Of course, you wouldn’t wake him up. No, you were considerate and thoughtful as hell. You didn’t give a rat’s ass if you were going to have a sore neck the next day if it meant he had gotten some rest and much needed sleep.’

“No. No, you wouldn’t.”

Chris moved a bit, propped up on his elbows as his face came towards you. You met him halfway. Kisses like these shouldn’t be legal. You never questioned Chris’ love for you. No, with kisses like these, you could feel it. You felt his gratitude (gratuitous in your opinion but nevertheless), appreciation and love. He pulled back from the kiss after what seemed like a lifetime not that you would ever complain. He pecked your lips one more time before pulling you with him so you weren’t sitting up like before but rather lying on the couch. Still squished by him and his weight but you wouldn’t have it any other way. He shuffled up a bit so his head rested right below your boobs, his ear rested right on top of your heart. He liked the sound of your steady heart beating.

“You wanna watch a Disney movie?”

“Like you need to ask.”

Your body shook a bit as you laughed jolting Chris’ face.

You went on Disney+ where you found ‘The little Mermaid’. You were both awake for about 30 minutes or so before you both fell asleep. You fell asleep intertwined like that. Yeah, your body would probably be just a tad bit stiff or something like that the next morning, but it was so worth it. Chris was worth it.

You took several deep breaths as you tried to regain control of your emotions. You couldn't forget the interview you'd seen earlier that day. 'Chris Evans, laser focused on finding a partner.' It only confirmed what you'd been thinking. This -meaning your relationship -wasn't what chris wanted. He apparently didn't think of this as a final destination. He wasn't in this with you.

You'd been together for almost three years now. You thought things had been good. He seemed happy. Or so you thought. But lately he seemed to feel differently judging by his latest statements.

It broke your heart.

You loved Chris more than you ever thought possible. And you only hoped that he loved you as much as you loved him. Honestly, you felt blindsided. This wasn't how you'd pictured it. The start of your relationship was probably not ideal but you thought things had been good.

Yes, things with Chris moved slowly but per your request. You'd been in a relationship before where you moved too quickly and you ended up so very hurt in the end. Chris was nothing but understanding when you expressed wanting to take things slow. Which is why you dated for a long time before becoming 'exclusive', why it took almost 2 years before he asked about you moving in.

Maybe that was your mistake. Taking things too slow. Chris wasn’t getting any younger and neither were you in fact. Chris had expressed wishes in regards of starting a family once. Hopefully with the right person, he said.

Now, sitting sniffling back loads of snot and tears, you worry about the future of your relationship. 'I'm gonna lose him.'

Your worst enemy, your insecurity 'sat on one of your shoulders' like the devil. 'Of course, he'll leave you. Don't be dumb. We're a lot of things but dumb isn't one. Yes, it was unrealistic and surreal that the man ever wanted to date us, but we had a good run. It's 3 more years than I expected. Take it. You foolish girl. He could or rather can- have anyone he wants...this shouldn't surprise you.'

Looking down, expecting to see the angle on your other shoulder, ready to plow your devil, there was none. 'No pep talk for you.'

You heard the faucet being turned off and his footsteps. Chris let out a small yawn as he walked back into the bedroom only wearing his boxers and a white t-shirt. You stared a bit as he walked to ‘his side’ of the bed. You went to place the folded clothes back in a plastic bag and into your suitcase quietly. Chris offered to help but you shook your head no. He let out a small sigh as he got comfortable in the cold bed.

You crawled under the covers too not long after. Even though you were lying in the same bed, you never felt further apart.

Chris shut off the light as he told you goodnight.

"Love you."

That did it.

'How can you say that?' Your heart ached. You couldn’t stop the sound of your sob before it escaped your lips.

Chris immediately turned on the light and turned to look at you. The tears fell freely, leaving a wet trail on your cheeks.

"Hey, what's going on?"

You let out small gasps as you cried while clutching the sheets. You tried hiding your tears. 'Why bother hiding? Dumbass, he knows!'

"Love, look at me."

Chris sat up straighter in bed, leaning against the headboard as he wrapped his arms around you pulling you to him. You felt like a rag doll as he placed you between his legs trapping you there. He kept his arms around your shoulders as you continued crying slightly shaking.

"Please tell me what's wrong? I want to help but I can't unless you tell me what's going on. Please, let me help."

He hugged you close to him. Your cries quieted down a bit as he held you like that for a while. Chris felt you relax a bit minute by minute.

You let out a small hiccup as you mumbled something into your arm. Chris gently removed your arm from your mouth.

"Please."

"I feel like I'm losing you…"

You felt his eyes on you. Without even looking, you knew his persistent eyes.

"I'm not-"

Your heart pounded in your chest as you tried forming the words while sobbing like the mess you were.

"I've always sort felt like I would lose you - ... someday but... now...I really don't want to lose ... you."

You cried still as Chris held you. You didn't have it in you to look at him. You already felt pathetic enough.

You felt like a big baby as Chris rocked you while you cried like some wronged child.

"Why on earth would you think that?"

"Because I never deserved you...I was just lucky I guess. It's always been in the cards that you would leave me. That I would eventually lose you to someone else."

Chris frowned and turned you a bit so he could make eye contact with you despite you trying to avoid his eyes.

"Hey, I don't know what sucky cards you've been looking at but it ain't the ones I live by."

You felt stupid and even more pathetic. You heard him inhale and exhale loudly.

"Look, I don't know exactly what brought this up but make no mistake...you're not losing me unless you would like that? - ... Is that something you want?"

You turned completely around, now facing Chris. Your legs thrown over his thighs.

"No!"

"No?"

"No, of course not."

Chris brought both of his hands to your face, where he wiped your tears away. He held his hands there for a while. His thumbs caressed your skin drawing small circles.

"Then you're not losing me unless you choose it and since it doesn't sound like it's something you want...then I'm not going anywhere.”

Chris' heart broke a bit as he saw your eyes fill up with tears once again.

"Then why?-"

"Why what?”

You sucked in a deep breath trying to keep from crying again.

"Why would you say those things in that interview? How laser focused you were on finding a partner for life."

Your lip trembled slightly as you spoke in fear of whatever he might say.

"You silly... - that's because I am... very focused in fact."

Now, you were mad. He even had the gall to smile at you. 'Here you are crying whilst he smiles?!'

You moved to push him further away from you but he wasn't having that.

"I'm being serious... How do you think that makes me feel? Am I just some quick stop before you reach whatever destination you got planned with someone else?”

Chris shouldn't have smiled as he watched you try to escape his hold on you. You looked like someone whose legs got caught in a blanket.

"Will you just listen to me? Your tiny fists aren't as effective as you might think."

You stopped struggling in his arms only to avoid his eyes. You were still upset but now also mad at him.

"Yes, I did say those things in the interview. It was the truth. It's something I've done for what feels like ages... but over these last couple of years, it's changed. Because of you... - you swept in just like that...-”

Chris still holding your cheek, grabbed one of your hands bringing it to his chest. He placed your hand right over his heart and kept his hand firmly on yours. You looked at your intertwined hands not wanting to look him in the eyes.

"I stand by every word because it's what it feels like with you. Not because I can picture a future with you and our lives intertwined...it's because I cannot imagine my life without you in it."

As Chris finished talking, your eyes far from dry watered again this time, Chris' eyes did too.

“You really mean that?”

“Really really.”

You threw your arms around his neck flinging yourself into his arms. Chris let out a small breath as he curled his strong arms around your body. He could still feel your body react to everything that had just transpired, so you sat like that for a while.

Chris held you until you pulled your head back to look at him. Chris wiped your tears away with his thumb.

“I’m so sorry honey- I thought you knew that I was talking about you.”

You let out a watery laugh as you moved to wipe your face in your sleeve. ‘God, you’re disgusting. What mustn’t he think about us?’ You caught yourself before you could wipe your face feeling dumb all over.  Chris grabbed a hold of his shirt and before you knew, he had wiped your tear and snot-filled face on his shirt.

“Hey.”

You looked down feeling how your body grew tired from all the crying and the confessions. A light touch, and your chin was being nudged upwards.

“I love you.”

“I love you… too. “

Chris broke into a smile as he hugged you once more. You clung to him as he rubbed your back. Quietly, he laid back down bringing you with him. Your head was resting on top of his chest.

“I’m not going anywhere… No- I’m staying right here for as long as you’ll have me. Tell ya the truth - You’re gonna have to drag me away from you.”

You let out a sigh as you arched your neck to look at him.

“Never.”

Chris softly smiled at you and brought one of your hands to his lips, kissing each of your fingertips.

“Never…Never it is then.”

Chris placed a kiss on your forehead, your temple, and your cheeks before finally, your lips.
