~Caregivers who don’t participate in every activity with their kiddo but they sit near them working on their own projects.

~Caregivers who don’t constantly verbalize how much they care but show it through things like food, and picking up toys, or taking their little one places.

~Caregivers who don’t constantly coo and fuss and baby talk, but still talk to babies assuming they are being understood.

~Caregivers who never raised children, who don’t have the resources and foreknowledge but are trying.

~Caregivers who can’t afford all the gear for their little and make do with homemade toys (bonus points if they are able to create, sew, or build toys themselves)

~Caregivers with the perfect story telling voice, asmr vibes.

~Caregivers who have tough love

~Caregivers who ruffle their little’s ones hair till it’s messy and frizzy and their baby is a giggling mess

~Caregivers who call their regressor kiddo- kid- squirt- half pint- little one- monster- gremlin- whelp- pup- ect

a major reason why i personally age regress and get the urge to regress is because as an undiagnosed autistic child i was not ready for the rate at which new expectations were given to me.

it's understandable to wanna be tiny when people expected you to meet milestones that you weren't able to meet.
