Something really sweet to think about is how Wangxian was played at first for Wei Wuxian in a cave with a couple strings (in the donghua) meaning that it most likely didn’t sound very good and probably out of tune just like how Wei Wuxian probably played it when he was using the makeshift bamboo flute when he was revived

I’m not sure just how to explain but there is something romantic about Wangxian being just the rawest and purest form of love between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. That even at when it’s poorly played with the barest of essentials (just a couple strings and humming or a last minute carved piece of bamboo), it’s still important to Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian without it being carefully played or super good sounding

A mutual and I were talking awhile ago about The mask’s transformation and what that looks like. As much as I like the silly goofiness of the transformation I also like the horrific aspect of putting on a mask and having it suctioning to your face perhaps permanently.
