Hm true I suppose, when you’ve grown up in the sea all that stuff is…yknow you’re used to it- us land dwellers aren’t used to such big things around us. The only things we normally fear or get intimidated by is tall people.

Growing up in the sea doesn't desensitize you, growing up near it does. A reef mer in my middle school hid in a trench 'cause he got scared. We were invited to the funeral for some reason.
