Why this change? What will happen to AO3?

Overall, it was a difficult decision... Due to my university degree, writing fanfiction made my university work more difficult 'cause i dont take it seriously (oops)

I found more comfort in drawing than in writing, so yeah...

Unfortunately, AO3 will be deleted.

Writing something outside the "normal" Ao3 made me uncomfortable its too uhm """"hot"""" maybe?????

I appreciate those who read them in both Spanish and English, You guys motivated me to see a future for my AU. 🩷

What is CREATE-TALE about?

a psychological horror comic.

I really appreciate the idea that you can participate in this through ask-blogs, or by delving into the thriller aspect of the story itself.

I allow fan art, interactions, and reinterpretations of the story. (Don't forget to tag me, I'd love to read and see it!!)

I will also soon introduce the SOULS-main characters. I sincerely hope they will be characters worthy of analysis and appreciation, but this will not take away your place in the story and your ability to contribute your own part; the canon story should not affect your own canon.

How can I help?

Generally, uh- I don't know how long I'll last making chapters... I'll prioritize quick sketches and asks which I haven't answered yet (sorry!!!!) to feed us while I work on the pages!

HOWEVER, previews and exclusive sketches will be uploaded to Ko-fi before its tumblr-publication! (It's under maintenance! )

The next day, the chapters would be here! It will be more to give exclusive access to those who want to see things before or find out extra details (I tend to write my own interpretations for greater clarity; if you don't ask me here, I'll definitely have said it before on Ko-fi...)

I was gonna share it either way but I think it’s really funny how I tend to abruptly change the plot near the end. it wasn’t supposed to get angsty in the comic but it did so the writing is mostly gonna be fluff. my bad xd

The sea beyond them shimmered with glittering light from the drooping sun. The sand were light-yellow below Killer’s shoes, but they get just a bit more orange as the sun drops lower. Some would say the sun is feeling down(heh), but Killer, he says the sun is dead.

Killer curled up, looking away from Ink. “… Do they know, too?”

“Who?” Ink faced him, his scarf swishing along with the beach-wind, shaking so violently, yet so gracefully at the same time.

Killer kept his head in place, staring at the ground where the shallow water barely meets his feet. “Your… ‘friends.’ Do they know you… don’t have a soul?” He replied. It is not everyday that Killer willingly choose to start up a conversation. To be honest, he was enjoying the silence beforehand, but he didn’t know what had gotten into him these past two days. Perhaps… he is changing a lot more than he thought he would.

“You mean Dream, Core Frisk, and all of the others?” Ink didn’t wait for a confirmation. “They’re not my friends.”

“Oh. Okay.”

“Well, it’s not like I keep it a secret,” Ink continued, “it’s kinda common knowledge around the multiverse at this point.” He chuckled, waving his hand around while mimicking a mocking expression, “Hahah, the Protector of AUs is soulless!” His half-hearted chuckle and attempt to brighten the mood, and/or to divert the topic, didn’t reach to Killer’s soul.

“Aren’t you… hesitant… about telling them?” Even if he doesn’t want to admit it, his words carried an undertone that sounded like, “aren’t you embarrassed?” And the fact that he knew Ink can read his undertone made his soul warped a little.

Ink tilted his head, seemingly interested in the conversation, though Killer knew well that Ink was just keeping this conversation up to entertain both of them. “Why should I be?” Ink challenged in a playful voice.

His mouth spoke before he could think as he whispered to Ink, “Letting others know how empty you are inside…” Killer watched as Ink noted how uncomfortable he looked, feeling just a little bit more of disgust for himself, but he decided to continue on with the topic anyways. “Letting them know how vulnerable you actually are… isn’t it scary?”

“If they are truly my friends(which they aren’t, how funny), they’d accept me,” replied Ink. “Plus… that doesn’t make me any worse than them.” Killer gave Ink a look, observing as the dying sun casted its final lights on Ink’s face, making it shine pink and orange. “I can still feel as much as they do,” He crossed his legs and dragged his hands over his vials, tracing their shapes and silhouettes. “My emotions are real and I know that.”

“If only I had a choice to hide my soul...” Killer mumbled, more to himself than to Ink as he returned his gaze toward the open sea.

“Even if I can, I wouldn’t.” Ink briefly glanced at Killer, accidentally catching a quick, yet meaningful eye-contact. “My soullessness is a part of who I am,” he said, “I am Ink, the soulless Protector, and I don’t mind being Ink.”

Killer frowned. “I don’t think I like being ‘Killer.’” He’s pretty sure he doesn’t. What’s the point of being “Killer?” There are no good pros to being himself, so he put on his smiley mask to try and savor his identity. Not like that’s helping him much now, since for whatever reason, he can’t seem to find his signature grin when Ink’s around.

“You can be whoever you want to be.” Ink smiled, this time, facing Killer once again.

Killer looked back at him, trying to make his expression as unreadable as possible. “I guess,” he said in a “yeah-sure-whatever-you-say-tone.”

“Killer.” Ink leaned forward toward Killer, but Killer didn’t flinch. He has no reason to be scared. He’s safe. “You can be whoever you want to be when you’re with me. I don’t mind and I like it that way.” Killer listened as the words danced to the wind’s chorus for the dying sun. Ink held his hand tightly, reassuring him the two words, “You’re safe,” with his gentle hand gestures and a soft look on his face. Killer’s soul pulsed, almost painfully. Killer smiled—a genuine, happy, relieved smile—and Ink returned that.

They stayed beside the shore until the moon arrived, granting them with dimmer, yet shinier light. Killer studied the way Ink’s eyes flickered with all sorts of colors as the moon’s lights kissed his face. They both ran alongside the roaring waves and the clashing wind, yet they were not scared.

Killer was not scared.

I like how @scorn-skellies said “stuck in his memory…” it really gave ink that kind of evil vibes… that’s actually the main inspiration for this piece. I really wanted to show how ink was “carving” these memories into killer, while not being very comfortable with that himself. ink has never done something like this before, so it’s also “something new” for him, too.

here’s the sketch too because I wanna talk a bit about it

originally, ink was going to be shown literally “carving” killer’s soul, but I ditched that since the pose was too awkward and I want to show a more “abrupt” way that can’t be fixed—just stabbing. it is abrupt because it is pieced together in a timeframe of one week, and it cannot be easily fixed because… yk, it’s a stab to the soul/chest. I made them hold hands to show how ink was trying to… “comfort” killer through the pain. I also changed up the dialogue “you look sad” to “you don’t look happy,” in order to give killer a pouty/criticizing tone.

I really really like what @broocksz said in the tags… ink’s plan is so absurd yet so fitting for killer… so “tailored” you said… I dunno maybe it isn’t intentional since ink has never really thought about it throughly before. ink just thought one day, “oh yeah I just realized I really like this guy and I wanna help him so baddd but it’s gotta be beneficial for me too yk hehe,” and did what he did. ink has never really experienced a lot of “unconditional love” before(he only has the two gasters and that’s it; he doesn’t consider dream because he thinks dream is only using him), so everything he does, he expects something back from it. I mean, that’s his whole purpose for being a Protector anyways.

have i mentioned that ink loves making impacts? I’d imagine it giving him a sense of pride to know that what he does, matters. especially when he could see the results clearly. he likes knowing that he isn’t invisible(anymore) and that he can make impact if he wanted to. half of the reason why ink also enjoys the one week with killer(because why would ink ever go out of his way to help someone?) is that he likes seeing killer happy. he likes making killer happy, knowing everything killer has been through. He knows how much this is affecting killer and he likes it. He likes how he is the one that is bringing something new to killer. he likes how he is shaping killer’s perceptions of the world, he likes how he is changing him, and he… but he doesn’t like how that is affecting killer(and himself). He hates how he knows that he won’t be able to let go of killer and move on, and he hates how killer wouldn’t either. he doesn’t know how to explain this new feeling. Why would anybody not like being wanted? he has done his one week and he should be able to move on and forget about everything that has happened like he always do, so why can’t he?

just something about the trope of “knows everything about them”(ink) and “knows nothing about them”(killer). at first, killer knows nothing about what’s going on in ink’s mind, but he tries to anyways. he studied how ink acts and how he thinks. Killer loves solving puzzles, and within just one week, killer was closer to understanding ink than anyone ever was. but what killer couldn’t solve was why ink likes him. What part of him does ink like? why is he doing this for killer? they’re practically strangers, so why? kinda the same question he asks with color. killer is smart, he knew/learned what ink is doing, how he is affecting him, and he lets it happen. think about it—it’s been so long since he’s felt something new other than pain, guilt, depression, and misery, so why even try to pass off on this awesome miracle?

okay I’m yapping too much, I realized I left off a pretty big part of this au so I’ll post a timeline later, but here’s the timeline generalized:

- ink finds killer still in his au(neither can interact with each other)

- nm found killer and takes him

- color tries to help killer but failed, swearing to come back for him

- killer in nm’s control for about a few months before ink finds out

- ink gets really excited and tried to talk to killer but failed(shown in the second scene in One Week)

- nm badly injured by dream, leaving killer(not on the battlefield, he just dropped killer off in some random timeline) to an episode

- killer had a massacre in that timeline

- ink finds him(before color or dream did; shown in scene 3 in One Week) and takes him

- some time during One Week, color finds out killer is with ink and they talked(without killer’s presence somehow). ink offered to hand killer to color after the one week(in this au, ink and color knows each other beforehand. ink actually found out killer is with nm through color)

- one week ends, ink took killer to color; killer does remember color so he reluctantly left with him to the Omega Timeline
