im thinking of joining roller derby. im not that bad at skating but for some reason i always feel like i cant move my feet once im in an open space. like practicing at home is one thing but damn…. my feet are glued once im at a rink.

DO IT!!! Your local derby team most likely has a ‘boot camp’ where you solidify the basics and learn the ropes of derby. I started only knowing how to move forward (kind of) and stay standing. Within two months I was a blocker and my confidence on and off skates SOARED.

i think im gonna do it!! ive been wanting to skate more and push myself to do more social things so this is kinda perfect. i have a month to bulletproof my ankles before they start intake. wish me luck 🫡

oh fucking congratulations you mother fuckers got me. it was so cute and sweet in the beginning and hurt every time she said she hated her hair. but he liked it and he liked HER. i know the beauty standard for a movie in the late 90s in going to emphasize straight hair but like…. ms. girl just needed conditioner.

multiple times in the first half, i would say ow out loud because it was so sweet it gave me cavity pain.

then the second half…. i didnt realize it would take that turn. so i started to say ow because i was taking damage. but! cute resolution! loved the mcs and the friend group was fucking adorable. UGH

imaginal disk - magdalena bay (2024)

i never brought it up but i listened to imaginal disk for the first time a couple weeks ago. i played it maybe 10x a day for a week. its such a fun and an exciting listening experience.

there are some albums that you like but ultimately, you find a couple songs to put in a playlist and thats it. if i hear any song from imaginal disk on a random playlist, i will start the entire album from the top to go through the whole story. i like alot of albums but i only really do the start to finish think for renaissance and nfr!

im so excited to see them in october
