i think one of the main reasons i like this story is because of the vampire element. ive been on my vampire loving behavior for about a year now and what can i say.... im like a fang banger. i like how its one of the earliest books about vampires and its about a woman!!!!!! you already are going into it knowing vampires will be in it but listening to the classic vamp signs before you know is a little thrilling.

now the other part i love is obviously the tension between two women. again..... do i think the author was trying to say that godless lesbians are preying on unassuming innocent christian girls and draining them?.... yeah maybe :// did i also find it extremely hot when she claimed her and got excited to see her..... hell yeah.
maybe my girl was just real hungry and saw a big juicy steak in front of her or maybe she was lowkey in love..... but she was telling all the local girls that so maybe she just saw a steak ://
not my proudest moment:
it is a 3 hour long audiobook. i took 6 hours and 53 minutes.... i was listening to it before bed and slept through 2 hours! I also would get distracted and have to go back 7 minutes to lock in and understand ONE long ass sentence.
i never brought it up but i listened to imaginal disk for the first time a couple weeks ago. i played it maybe 10x a day for a week. its such a fun and an exciting listening experience.
there are some albums that you like but ultimately, you find a couple songs to put in a playlist and thats it. if i hear any song from imaginal disk on a random playlist, i will start the entire album from the top to go through the whole story. i like alot of albums but i only really do the start to finish think for renaissance and nfr!

im not even halfway through this audiobook so idk which way this will go. im sure that using a woman as the vampire is purposeful because its going to be homophobic. the authors intention is to show how predatory this vampire woman is to this other woman, caressing her, whispering in her ear (glamouring??), kissing her and claiming her. good heavens!!! she must be an evil monster!!! 😟

i really enjoyed the pitt. i watched the first 10 episodes in one night which was fun- to feel the flow of the show as if im on the shift. after getting used to greys anatomy’s medical malpractice and constant hookups in on call rooms, i was delighted by a more realistic hospital show.
that being said…. most of the cast can meet me in an on call room…… paging dr. robby to my arms.
