More facts about Nomu Zashi and Oboro...please?🥺

I always have random stuff like this stored somehwere inside my mind and I never write it down so I'm glad you asked, ty!

1. When Hizashi and Oboro were at the hospital, they were kept in different rooms because they could sense distress or instability in the other, and the doctors worried it could trigger a negative reaction in either of them.

It took a lot of work, but Oboro ended up befriending the night-shift nurses and somehow convinced them to let him sneak out for a little bit to Hizashi's room.

2. Hizashi and Oboro's rooms were changed to resemble a bedroom because being in a white hospital room wasn't good for their mental health.

3. I actually thought about this as a headcanon for OG Mic, but it applies to him too. Hizashi knows a few Vocaloid songs because he has heard his students talking about them and playing some songs before.

He played some songs during karaoke night at the hospital for Oboro.

4. Oboro loves being pushed around in his wheelchair

5. Hizashi's tail kinda has a mind on its own and often doesn't "behave" as Hizashi wants it to. It knocks things over, hits others by accident, grabs onto things, gets stuck, etc. Hizashi is constantly fighting his body. He hasn't found a way to work with it yet.

6. Unlike Hizashi, Oboro doesn't "become unstable", doesn't "behave wrong". No one has ever seen him lose his temper; he doesn't bare his teeth, doesn't growl or hiss. He looks... Normal if you don't take into consideration his Nomu modifications. He smiles easily, talks with everyone, makes jokes, does his best during his rehab and therapy sessions, and everything feels a little too good to be true. Despite trying so hard to "be normal", Oboro can't help but feel deeply hollow. He doesn't feel completely like "Shirakumo," but he also doesn't feel like "Kurogiri" either. He doesn't feel like he deserves to be back; he feels guilty for making so many suffer, for still thinking about Shigaraki sometimes, and for being the reason Shouta and Hizashi don't get along.

He feels a lot of things and isn't sure how to vent any of that without making those around him worry. Maybe being overly cheery after everything he went through should be taken as a sign that he might not be doing too well.

7. The only person who understands how Oboro feels about Shigaraki is Hizashi, because despite "hating that little punk", he also bonded with members of the League (Spinner and Toga). They only trust each other with this because both know they won't be judged by the other.

8. At first, Kayama was the only one whom Hizashi tolerated inside the room. Shouta tried a few times, and he was always welcomed with a defensive hiss. Later, he realized that Hizashi was dealing with some complicated feelings on top of everything else, but they eventually reconciled.

9. Sometimes Hizashi would do strange things without him noticing. One of them is when he subconsiously lowers his body to adopt a quadrupedal stance. He absolutely hates that. He hates that his brain sometimes defaults to the monster the League created.

10. I said this before, but Hizashi can't tell when his other quirks are active. Resonance feels like an uncomfortable pressure in his chest that slowly grows with time, and Siren's call makes people enter his room randomly without them knowing why they're there in the first place.

11. Oboro's arms and back are covered in scales, and his skin is thicker than that of a human. Just one of many requirements to be Shigaraki's caretaker and "bodyguard" of the League. It also helped give his body more stability, as Shirakumo's original body was in a very poor condition when Garaki obtained it.
