Starting unnecessary discourse for fun
0 characters I actively dislike, but I find Teor and Katt a bit dull. Everyone was raving about the backstory for Katt and I got spoiled, so I think it lost impact for me, and itās obviously the Tachonis right?
Wicc is so GOATED itās shocking. There was a world where I thought him being so competent was OOC but Sam played it so well I barely notice. Good shit.
My most outstanding. though, is still Murray. The only character in an actual play outside of Suvi from WWW that I can remember constantly sticking to their flaws regardless of the situation that theyāre in. Loud but always making the smartest decision and the harsh but caring professor vibe moves me. Plus Northern European poor people #myculture
Then a bunch of characters that are just really compelling and are well played, Julian/Taisha/Azune/Occtis swap all the time on my list but theyāre just very well played and have futures iām very interested in, alongside great acting. Especially Taishaās strong personality and clashes with the rest of the party, which adds some drama within the cast. Azuneās best trait is being played by Luis Carazo, not that his backstory isnāt compelling or that his conflicts arenāt realistic, but without the phenomenal acting I donāt know if his schemers arc would have hit as hard for me.
Hal is awesome, but not suuuuper moving. This might be my anti straight bigotry showing /j
Bolaire is interesting, and played well, but I think he would be well served if I knew less about his thought process. It feels like I know so much about how this mysterious character thinks.
Thimble is a confusing character bc the actual sessions are awesome and sheās my second favorite PC in combat, added to a fun personality that balances out the sadder characters well. Iām really confused about her relationship with Thazz, and how close they were. How do we have so much info on Thazzās character coming from his almost estranged brother but not his right hand?
Tyranny is similar but in a different way, where I think sheāll become more independent later. Right nowās sheās cool and I get it, but outside of the Knife scenes I donāt know much about her outside of Wicc.
Vealus is weird. She kinda flipped on a dime, and I donāt really get the choice to give her religion up that quickly. Sheās also very passive in the narrative. Sheās probably the only character that I can see turning out āpoorlyā but she doesnāt hurt the narrative at all and I like her relationships w/ the other Seekers.
