I’ve been thinking about this since I saw IW but never put it out.

So we know the time stone is linked to the world of the mystic arts. Strictly because Dr. Strange uses it. But something struck me during the Thanos fight on Titan.

Both Thanos and Dr. Strange block each other’s attacks. Dr strange the butterflies. And Thanos by altering the mirror dimension. That being said. Steven basically did Jack squat just using the energy whips the entire fight, except twice. Where he uses more advanced Techniques, first the mirror dimension, and secondly the replicating himself. And in both circumstances his efforts are dealt with Ease by Thanos.

To support kind of what I said, is not only magic reliant on the stones, because of strange, but also all the exposition about the stones is given by wong.

There are only two instances of anything being able to resist the gauntlet. 1 being Thor's axe, and Wanda.

I assume all the stones are linked, and that is how Wanda was able to resist them because she has the energy from one in her.

But unfortunately they don't tell us a lot about storm bringer. Although it was made of the same as material the gauntlet.
