You've never been surfing before? I fear I have failed you as a friend if that's the case. I promise that I'm not going to laugh. All that much. No, not all waves are the same. They have different breaks and heights to them. You've got to nail the art of picking the right ones, otherwise if they're a bit shit you're not going to be able to get up on the board.

Maybe I've never been surfing because I'll turn into one of those Australian mermaids like that one movie. You'll just have to find out once I hit the water. I have so much to learn about this sport. It's a sport, right? I feel like it is since there are competitions and such.

It's what we do, we just want to make music wherever we go. But it might be best to just have it at home and relax. You've been touring for quite some time indeed so chill for a bit, mate. Am sure you can swim around here. Make up for all that lost time.

That's what I thinking. A break is what I need but I never give myself one. You know how I am, though. Always making that music to make that money. Ha! I've definitely been swimming since we got here. How about you, Tommo? What all have you been up to since we got here?

I'm sure that someone around has a guitar so that you can still bring all that ambience that you want. People are going to love hearing you sing - as long as it's the campfire song, song. You know that ones a classic. And I don't think it's much of a performance, right? Unless you're doing the little festival later in the week.

Haha! I actually have been meaning to learn how to play that song. I think it's only a few chords so it's probably not too hard. I felt like I should have been in the festival, but I think I needed a break since the North American leg of the tour just ended for me. It's a shame. I could have played the harmonica for you all.

A guitar is always a necessity when it comes to a bonfire. Not only that but it's required for someone to grab it and start playing Wonderwall. Are you playing a set at the concert tomorrow or are you taking the time to relax and rest before heading back to your own tour? Summer isn't over yet! This is the perfect time to get in all the swimming you want.

When does summer technically end? I have definitely caught up on all of the swimming I missed out on just in the few days we've been here. I did think for a moment about performing, but since I just finished my North American leg of the tour, I thought taking a break would be nice.

it seems like everyone is (rightfully) excited for the Y2K party but i can't wait for the performances tomorrow, especially when the chance to do nothing but hang out or fangirl in the audience, let's be real, has been handed to me on a silver platter. i love getting to connect with people and play my own music but it's been way too long since i really had the chance to be part of the concert experience from the other side of things. will i be lucky enough to catch you on stage or are you planning on relaxing a bit as well? do you have any pre-show rituals that you can't go without? @flickerhoran

I heavily considered performing, but since I just finished the North American leg of my tour, I thought giving the pipes a break would be smart. Brushing my teeth is definitely one ritual I always do. Sometimes I shower, too. I just like to feel clean when I'm out on stage, I guess. What about you? How does Kelsea Ballerini warm up to blow an audience away?

as an avid fan of not working too hard and definitely not while on vacation, i'd say that it's for the best you didn't bring your guitar. as a die hard one directioner who was hoping for a reunion, i'm quite devastated that you didn't. i know you're probably tired of this question, but shit dude, i can't not ask - when is this reunion happening?

You're right. I am on vacation, so I should chill out a bit. Ah, yes, the question everyone loves to ask. I'll give you a pass since I think you're cool. I honestly have no clue when that will happen. Am I ready for a reunion? Abso-fucking-lutely. I think the timing just has to be right. Personally, I think the right timing would be whenever all of us aren't busy working on stuff, but I think the others may have a different idea.

Are we going to get on surfboards and see who can be the best? Cause I feel like that's something we need to do. I'll even give you a head start with picking the waves. I'm kind. @flickerhoran

mes-who? kidding, yes, i have. he is one of my best mates and i feel lucky i still get to call him friend, before he blasts off into the atmosphere and forgets us little people. ah, it makes me so happy to here you say that. i loved working on it. i was such a fan of the book so making it come to life felt like such pressure but an amazing set to be on.

Good to know that he hasn't ruined the reputation of us Irishmen, not that I thought he would. I feel like I need to read the book even though I watched the whole show. You did wonderful in my eyes, so I'm sure you did Marianne from the novel justice as well.

You read correctly. There's a few songs that we're changing between - just to spice things up a little bit. Being an opening act for four months - playing the same songs the whole time just seems... mundane. Especially for the biggest tour in music history. Are there other people doing the same?

I totally get that. Keeping the fans on their toes makes the show more interesting. Not that I'm arguing with that, because it surely deserves that title, but has the Eras Tour officially been recognized as the biggest tour in history? I don't see why anyone would wait to give that title to Taylor, but I'm not sure who exactly would be the one to give it to her. Louis has, I'm sure. I think he changed up a song or two for some of the shows on his past tour, but not too sure what he's doing for the festivals.

Niall shrugged. "I definitely have been tempted to adopt one while out on the road, but I don't think I can deal with leaving the little pup with someone else while I'm performing," he said, "but, then again, Glen Powell brought little Brisket on the press tour for that tornado movie, so maybe I can make it work."
