for the very first time in her life, jellybean experienced the definition of a record scratch, freeze frame moment - not exactly what she’d been expecting on her first official day back at work, and certainly not what she’d WANTED from it. she came to a screeching halt beside the blondes booth, the dirty plates stacked in her arms making an audible clattering noise as they defied the laws of motion and stayed, thankfully, safe. turning a wide eyed ( and somewhat disgusted ) gaze onto the other girl, the waitress tried, as much as possible, to keep some decorum about her for the sake of her job, managing to open with a simple - “sorry, i don’t mean to interrupt” - before, tragically, her jones blood TOOK OVER, a certain amount of venom injecting itself into the back end of her words, “are you SERIOUSLY sitting here, in broad daylight, writing erotic fanfic about my BROTHER?”
