He’s still hurt by this and in Colter he thinks John done that again so he doesn’t want to look for him to find out he was right and be hurt again when the last time still does
The absolute trust John has in Arthur when he’s held by Cornwall’s man. Not even for a second he doubted Arthur won’t save him
