Hellseeker was an absolute clusterfuck of a movie, the writing was even harder to follow than Hellbound, following Trevor instead of Kirsty just wasn't very interesting and I still don't get the point-

- OH MY GOD HE WAS JEALOUS. PINHEAD WAS JEALOUS OF TREVOR AND MANIPULATED HIM TO GET THE BOX INTO KIRSTY'S HANDS. PINHEAD KNEW THAT KIRSTY WOULD OPEN IT. HE KNEW SHE WOULD STRIKE A DEAL. AND ALLOWING HER TO DO SO WOULD BRING HER SOUL CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE CORRUPTION OF DESIRE. ASDFGGHJJKKLL PINHEAD WAS STEWING IN ENVY THAT WAS LITERALLY WHAT WAS BEHIND THIS PLOT. Hey remember how Pinny sounds like Elliot when he’s accepting the deal with Kirsty in Hellseeker? Do you think that means Elliot wants her as much as his Hell Priest side?

I mean he referred to her as a friend when talking to Joey, so Elliot has to be at least fond of her.

Because the demonic voice fades into human when he accepts the deal, I believe the implication is that Elliot's humanity briefly overcame the demonic in order to save Kirsty from hell. Meaning that it was the human emotions in him that are motivated to protect her from harm, which would be consistent with how H2 and H3 depict Pinhead's capacity for mercy.

Personally I am currently of the opinion that if Pinhead has feelings for her then Elliot does too, and vice versa. I also believe that it is actually Elliot's gratitude for Kirsty waking him up in H2 at the core of his subsequent fixation on Kirsty. Pinhead was intrigued by her in H1. It's not until she fundamentally changes his nature/understanding of himself that she lives in his head rent free. In other words, I think Elliot is the part of him that falls in love.

There is actually a moment in an earlier H3 script where Pinhead repeats Elliot's line about Kirsty, "Until a friend released me." Basically Pinhead also viewed Kirsty in a positive light for separating him and Elliot. So while Elliot felt burdened by the darkness Pinhead represented, Pinhead felt burdened by the human heart in him, and both were pleased by the change Kirsty created.
