A lesser man would've been quicker to deflect from the... pathetic scene @flawedhearts had walked in on. There's a slight creak of leather as Renzo reaches to his right, the still-full glass of wine sitting on the side table plucked from its perch and brought to his lips.

He's brooding. His version of Sonny's incessant pouting.

The sigh he exhales is intentionally loud, dramatic. "It was light when I came home. I've been sitting for a while, couldn't be bothered to turn on a light." No, clearly even lamplight would've been enough to distract Renzo from his rumination. Or, so he would suggest.

As his lover ambles about behind him, putting his things away -- or leaving them at the door, at least -- the mobster turns enough to cast a glance over his shoulder, looking more stern than he really feels. "Where were you? Come here, I haven't seen you all day, amore mio." There's the giveaway: he's feeling needy, and as much as he isn't saying it outright, the faux-command in his tone is more than giving him away.

So when he walked into a dark room he figured perhaps his reward would have to wait. But even in the low light he'd recognise such a familiar silhouette, even more so the wine glass that accompanied it. "You haven't got your phone out, I'm surprised you've not fallen asleep." Chance would have been a fine thing, that man would rather claw out his own eyes than leave a perfectly good glass of red go begging.

He kicked off his shoes, hung his coat and put his bags on the floor by the front door. Clearly packing away was only going to make Renzo more impatient, so he made a beeline for the back of the chair, careful to flick on the table lamp.

"Filling the car, grabbing my meds... bought you a new watch..." he hummed, hand coming up to stroke at his lover's hair. This was as close as the man got to needy, so Sonny was more than happy to oblige him.
