don't worry, the flatpocalypse is more like an internet cult that started a couple of months ago back in the summer when phil and dan moved to their london flat, some of the people in the phandom made urls for dan and phil's objects for example http://dans-justin-bieber-poster.tumblr.com/ http://dans-glabella.tumblr.com/ and http://phans-stove.tumblr.com/ 

Since it was a lot of people we all decided to make this a little internet group, but we always welcome new objects, we also have fake facebooks, but we don't use them as much anymore. We also have our own tumblr tags 'flatpocalypse 2012' 'flatpocalypse 2.0' and 'flatpocalypse' What we do is we go on tinychat almost everyday and we just have a laugh, share stories or simply listen to music, while remaining with our object names. For example, people refer to me as 'poster', I refer to others as boxes, glabella, stove, floor etc.

And because of the large amount of people we once had in it, it's called the flatpoclaypse.

Now, the wikipocalypse was basically a time when everyone in the phandom started editing wikipedia pages and making them more... phandom-like.
